TEMPE, Ariz. -- The Arizona Cardinals have released offensive lineman Elton Brown, signed free-agent offensive lineman Jeremy Bridges to a one-year contract, and added four free agents to their practice squad.

Filling out the eight-man practice squad on Tuesday are cornerback Rashad Barksdale, outside linebacker Chris Harrington, middle linebacker Lee Robinson and fullback Fui Vakapuna. All were recently cut from other NFL teams.

Brown, a guard and tackle, was drafted by Arizona in the fourth round in 2005 but lost his starting position last season.

Harrington was a sixth-round draft pick of the Cardinals in 2008 and spent 10 weeks on their practice squad before Cincinnati signed him.

Bridges rejoins the Cardinals after playing three seasons with Carolina and this preseason with Washington. He was claimed off waivers from Philadelphia in September 2004 and played 21 games over two seasons for Arizona, including 11 starts at guard.
