Top rusher Benson out for Bengals against Raiders

OAKLAND, Calif. -- Cincinnati leading rusher Cedric Benson will miss the Bengals game against the Oakland Raiders on Sunday with an injured hip.

Benson left last week's win over Pittsburgh because of sprained hip muscles and is inactive for this week's game. Larry Johnson is active for Cincinnati less than a week after signing with the Bengals.

Other inactives for Cincinnati are fullback Fui Vakapuna, linebacker Keith Rivers, linemen Evan Mathis and Andre Smith, tight end Chase Coffman and receiver Jerome Simpson.

The Raiders placed linebacker Ricky Brown on injured reserve. Inactives for the Raiders are receivers Todd Watkins, Javon Walker and Nick Miller, linebacker Jon Alston and linemen Khalif Barnes, Erik Pears and William Joseph.

With or without Benson the Bengals still run the train on the Raiders.  The Bengals just have to many weapons and quite frankly the Raiders are just bad.
