The 6-foot-3, 287-pound Mace joined Buffalo in May 2007 as an undrafted free agent and spent parts of the 2007 and 2008 season on the team's practice squad. He played in three games last season after being added to the roster in early December.
Mace, from Port Moody, British Columbia, was added to the Buffalo roster just over a week before the Bills take on the New York Jets in Toronto.
