Rams to start RB star Jackson after back spasms

ST. LOUIS -- Running back Steven Jackson is set to start the St. Louis Rams' game against the Seattle Seahawks after missing three days of practice with back spasms.

Jackson entered with four straight 100-yard games and was cleared after participating in pre-game warmups. He had been questionable.

Offensive tackle Jason Smith (concussion), fullback Mike Karney (neck) and guard Richie Incognito (foot) were among the inactives, with Incognito out for the fourth straight game. All three had been questionable.

Running back Julius Jones (chest) was inactive for the Seahawks, with Justin Forsett starting in his place. Jones had been questionable.
