Reports: Vikings to reunite WR Walker, Favre

The Minnesota Vikings are retuniting Brett Favre and wide receiver Javon Walker, according to reports.

ESPN first reported and the Minneapolis Star-Tribune has confirmed that the Vikings will pick up Walker, who was cut by the Oakland Raiders in the offseason after catching 15 balls in 11 games over two seasons. His signing would fuel speculation about the health of ailing receivers Percy Harvin (migraines) and Sidney Rice (hip).

Walker was a Pro Bowl receiver (2004) and had his greatest NFL success with Favre and the Packers but the two were on unfriendly terms before Walker was traded to Denver in 2005. In the interim, Walker has had only one 1,000-yard receiving season, with the Broncos in 2006.
