Coach Mike Shanahan said Saturday that Torain is close to full speed after suffering a hamstring injury two weeks ago against Detroit.
Shanahan was much more cautious about Portis, who has missed four games with a torn left groin. Shanahan said Portis would be a game-time decision, but the coach added: "I'm just hesitant to put him in too quick. I don't want to set him back."
Shanahan said kick and punt returner Brandon Banks would also be a game-time decision. He said Banks was sore after fielding some kicks on Friday. Banks had knee surgery last week.
