Underwood tweets support for Pats after Super Bowl eve release
INDIANAPOLIS -- Tiquan Underwood is wishing the New England Patriots good luck after they cut him on the eve of the Super Bowl.
If they win, the wide receiver who had three catches this season would be eligible for a championship ring and a full playoff share.

Underwood tweeted that he would use his release as motivation, thanked his supporters and wished the Patriots luck. The team filled his roster spot for Sunday's game against the New York Giants with defensive end Alex Silvestro. Both played college ball for Rutgers.
Underwood tweeted: "Im Fine, This Will Only Make Me Stronger...Tough Times Never Last But Tough Ppl Do."
His release increased the likelihood that wide receiver Chad Ochocinco would be active Sunday after being inactive for the AFC Championship Game against the Baltimore Ravens.
