The Rams now have two players, both wide receivers, on their offseason roster that will be suspended to start the 2012 season. Nick Miller has been suspended for the first four games of the season for violating the league policy on performance enhancing drugs..
Miller played six games for the Rams in 2011 and had the team's only kick return for a touchdown. He returned a punt 88 yards for a score on Nov. 27 against Arizona. For the season with the Rams, he had eight punt returns for 128 yards (16.0-yard average), two kickoff returns for 43 yards and one reception for eight yards.
He is eligible to participate in all offseason workouts and preseason games as is Austin Pettis, a rookie in 2011 who has already served two games for a violation of the NFL policy in performance enhancing drugs. The other two games of Pettis' suspension will be served at the beginning of the 2012 season.
