Will Robert Griffin III pass for 4,000 yards in 2012?

Robert Griffin III: 4,000 yards. Over or under?
Pete Prisco	The Redskins will use the typical Mike Shanahan approach, which is to run the football and throw off the run. That will mean Griffin will have a tougher time getting the throws needed to get to 4,000 yards. When Cam Newton did it last season as a rookie, he threw it 517 times. I will be shocked if Griffin gets to that number. I say he's closer to 3,500 yards.	Under
Clark Judge	He's so active outside the pocket he will run for yards that other quarterbacks might try to gain passing. He should play from behind, so that helps, but running and playing for a bad team will keep his numbers down.	Under
Mike Freeman	Not even close. RGIII will spend most of his Sunday's running for his life. He won't have time to throw for 4,000 yards.	Under
Jason La Canfora	It takes a village to raise a QB and this kid could be special, but he isn't Cam. We've never seen anything before like what Cam did in 2011 and that's an unfair standard here. The Redskins have issues at OL, RB and WR -- everywhere on the offensive roster except TE. He can't do it on his own.	Under
Pat Kirwan	RG3 is a future star but will struggle against the pass rush of the Giants, Eagles, and Cowboys. So reaching 4,000 yards in his first season is problematic. Griffin comes from a spread offense with limited audibles or reads for a third receiver. Kirk Cousins, another rookie, is producing better than RG3 at this point. That doesn't mean RG3 will not start but indicates some of the early struggles RG3 may have this year.	Under
Will Brinson	No one's doing what Cam did last season. Andy Dalton had a great rookie season and threw for 3,400 yards.	Under
Josh Katzowitz	As well as Griffin has played in the preseason, it'll still take him time to adjust once the regular season begins. He still has to figure out how to complete his deep passes, and there are a plethora of running backs in Washington who will take some of those potential passing yards away. Griffin very well could be dynamic, but he won't be quite as prolific as Newton was last season.	Under
Ryan Wilson	Griffin is in the early stages of his NFL education and while he has shown glimpses of what he can do when he has time in the pocket, he's also been quick to either take off with the ball, or worse -- take hits in the pocket while he waits for receivers to come open.	Under
