It may be only two games, but so far the new Todd Haley offense has been especially good at long, time-consuming drives. They put together touchdown drives of 11 plays for 80 yards, and 14 plays for 75 against the Jets. In their opener at Denver they had touchdown drives of 79 yards on 14 plays, 80 yards on 14 and a field-goal drive of 16 plays. "That's what we are capable of," tight end Heath Miller said. "We have the tools to put drives together like that and give our defense a break and stay on the field."

BY THE NUMBERS
10 - Number of home openers the Steelers have won in a row. The last time they lost one occurred in 2002, which also is the last time they opened a season with two losses. "This is sacred ground here at Heinz Field," defensive end Brett Keisel said. "It's a very tough place for opponents to come in and play."
