NEW YORK (AP) - Comments on the Tennessee Titans by the AP Pro32 panel (ranking in parentheses):
TENNESSEE TITANS (23)
Chris Berman (ESPN, 26) - Rest is always a good thing.
Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 22) - Responded to owner's challenge, but will it carry over after bye?
Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 24) - Anxious to see what Locker can do to finish out the season.
Bob Glauber (Newsday, 19) - Still in the hunt for a wild card, Tennessee is on the road to face Jacksonville. A tougher task perhaps now that Chad Henne gets his shot as the Jags' starter.
Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 18) - Opposing quarterbacks are completing better than 70 percent of their passes against the Titans. It's tough to win when the other team doesn't throw incompletions.
Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 22) - I don't know what to say about the Titans except I can't wait for the next Bud Adams pronouncement.
Ira Kaufman (Tampa Tribune, 23) - Give Chris Johnson credit, he's back among the NFL's elite runners.
Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 24) - Coming off a bye and hoping Jake Locker can spark this team. Chris Johnson is back in form, but the defense needs to improve. The owner's frustration could be a problem for a head coach building this team the right way.
John Lynch (Fox Sports, 26) - After being humiliated by the Bears, owner Bud Adams says everyone's job is on the line. Maybe Bud ought to say this every week as they pounded the Dolphins 37-3.
Alex Marvez (Foxsports.com, 23) - Maybe team owner Bud Adams won't have to fire anyone. The Titans (4-6) will be back in the playoff hunt with a victory Sunday against Jacksonville.
Dan Pompei (Chicago Tribune, 25) - Five of their six losses have come by 21 points or more.
