DENVER -- Denver Broncos right guard
Dan Neil practiced Friday, four days after undergoing surgery to
remove particles from his left knee.
Although amazed with the speed of the recovery, coach Mike Shanahan said
whether Neil plays Sunday against the New York Jets will be a game-time
decision.
"We'll check him out Saturday, see how he feels and hopefully, there is
no setback," Shanahan said.
Neil had surgery Monday after he injured his knee during last Sunday's
game at San Diego. The six-year veteran split time in practice with
Cooper Carlisle and showed no ill effects from the injury.
"This was two pretty good size particles in the knee. For him to come
back this quickly is amazing," Shanahan said.
