PHILADELPHIA -- Philadelphia Eagles Pro Bowl guard Jermane Mayberry will have reconstructive surgery on his left elbow and miss the rest of the season.

Mayberry left Sunday's 14-10 victory over the New York Giants in the third quarter after aggravating the injury. He originally was hurt on Sept. 28 against Buffalo, reinjured the elbow the following week against Washington and didn't play against Dallas last week.
"I feel bad for him, but I know he'll work hard to get himself ready for next season," coach Andy Reid said Thursday.
The team said the surgery had not yet been scheduled.
Mayberry, 6-foot-4, 325 pounds, is in his eighth season with the Eagles and was their first-round pick in the 1996 draft.
Bobbie Williams will take Mayberry's place at right guard.
