One-year deal keeps lineman Vollers in Dallas
IRVING, Texas -- The Dallas Cowboys re-signed offensive tackle Kurt Vollers to a one-year contract on Wednesday.
Vollers, a restricted free agent, is expected to challenge for the starting right tackle spot. In three seasons with the Cowboys, he started 11 of 27 games, including three of 13 games last season.
The Cowboys originally signed Vollers in October 2002, after he started that season on the practice squad of Indianapolis, which signed him as a rookie free agent out of Notre Dame.
