DAVIE, Fla. -- Gus Frerotte is expected to practice and play this week after suffering a concussion Sunday against Buffalo.

"He's fine today," coach Nick Saban said of the Dolphins' starting quarterback.

Frerotte was hurt when he was sacked for a safety, leaving with Miami trailing 23-3 in the third quarter. Sage Rosenfels replaced him and rallied Miami to a 24-23 victory.

Saban said Frerotte remains the No. 1 quarterback.

"We're not making any changes at that position right now," the coach said. "This should not be an issue. We don't want it to be an issue. I know y'all are going to try to make it an issue."

In the final 19 minutes, Rosenfels threw for 272 yards and two touchdowns, including the winning score on fourth down with six seconds left.
