GREEN BAY, Wis. -- The Green Bay Packers are expected to be without tight end Bubba Franks and linebacker Robert Thomas for Monday night's game against the Ravens because of lingering injuries.
"It does not look promising," coach Mike Sherman said after practice Saturday.
Sherman said he would consider downgrading both players from questionable to doubtful on the injury report Sunday.
Franks, a three-time Pro Bowl player, missed last week's game with neck and back soreness and has skipped practice this week. He has 25 catches for 207 yards and one touchdown this season.
With Thomas likely out for the fourth time in the last five games because of a strained quadriceps, Sherman said rookie Roy Manning will get the start Monday at weakside linebacker.
