The Heisman Trophy-winning running back said the double-talk was dizzying during his first visit to Houston on Thursday to meet with coaches and players.

DT Jasper rejoins Philly

PHILADELPHIA -- Free-agent defensive tackle Ed Jasper signed a one-year contract with the Philadelphia Eagles, rejoining the team that drafted him in 1997.

Jasper recorded 24 tackles and two sacks with the Oakland Raiders last year. Before signing with Oakland in 2005, Jasper spent six seasons with the Atlanta Falcons.

Jasper will play in a rotation at defensive tackle for the Eagles.

Originally a sixth-round draft pick of the Eagles, the 33-year-old Jasper played two seasons with Philadelphia and appeared in 17 games. For his career, Jasper has 402 tackles and 17.5 sacks in 118 games.

Parker, Chargers agree on new five-year deal

SAN DIEGO -- Wide receiver Eric Parker agreed to a new five-year contract with the San Diego Chargers.

Parker had been under contract through this season, but that deal was torn up as part of the new pact that runs through 2010.

Parker was the team's third-leading receiver last season with 57 catches for 725 yards and three touchdowns.
