Jets sign linebacker Kassell from Titans

HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. -- The New York Jets signed free-agent linebacker Brad Kassell on Monday.

Kassell spent the last four seasons with the Tennessee Titans after signing with them as an undrafted rookie in 2002.

The 6-foot-3, 242-pound Kassell has played in 56 regular-season games, making 32 starts, and has collected 259 career tackles.

Last season, Kassell played in every game and made 14 starts, registering 89 tackles. He also recorded his first career interception and returned it for a touchdown.
