The game between AFC East rivals Miami and Buffalo also was initially
scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. The changes, announced Tuesday, came a day
after NBC moved the Dec. 17 game between San Diego and Kansas City to
its nighttime slot.
The moves are part of the network's flexible scheduling, a feature of
the new television contract with the NFL that's meant to ensure
contending teams play in prime time late in the season.
The Eagles are Giants both are 6-6 and tied for the NFC wild-card slots
with Carolina and Atlanta.
With the Dolphins and Bills currently at 5-7, the game is unlikely to
have any playoff implications, although both teams have been playing
better of late.
Buffalo, coming off a 24-21 loss to San Diego, has gone 3-2 in its past
five games. The Dolphins had a four-game winning streak snapped with a
24-10 loss to Jacksonville on Sunday.
The Bills announced there are still about 7,000 tickets available for
the Dolphins game.
