CBSSports.com narrows in on the recent rumors and gossip surrounding players, coaches and teams.

Team by Team
According to the Cleveland Plain Dealer, Browns coach Romeo Crennel is considering benching Derek Anderson and starting Brady Quinn on Sunday in Cincinnati. Crennel said that he won't wait until the bye week following the Cincinnati game to make a decision.
According to the Detroit News, Bill Ford Jr. wants Matt Millen out as president of the Detroit Lions. Millen has been CEO and president of the Lions since 2001, and the team is headed for an eighth straight losing season with a 0-3 record in the first three games. The Lions are 31-84 under Millen.
This might be Gary Kubiak's toughest week as an NFL head coach. According to the Houston Chronicle, Kubiak is talking about changing quarterbacks. Naming a new starter can snap a team from its fog. Or divide a locker room. Matt Schaub has six turnovers and his 50.3 passer rating is lower than David Carr's worst full season.
According to the Miami Herald, Dolphins coach Tony Sparano used an unorthodox game plan paired with unblemished execution by running back Ronnie Brown in Sunday's stunning 38-13 victory over the Patriots. When taking the snaps in a shotgun formation, Brown ran twice for short touchdowns, handed off twice to Ricky Williams, passed once to tight end Anthony Fasano for a 19-yard touchdown, and carried the final direct snap for a 62-yard touchdown.
Raiders coach Lane Kiffin is here for the long haul, according to the Contra Costa Times. He made it clear Monday that he has no intention of walking away from the three-year contract he signed before last season. Al Davis has to decide whether Kiffin lasts beyond today, Sunday's game or the end of the season.
The Eagles hope that Brian Westbrook can heal quickly. According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, Westbrook was injured on the first play of the second quarter, needed the aid of crutches to leave the locker room and he also was wearing a walking boot as he changed into street clothes. The team is calling it an ankle strain and he's been scheduled for an MRI.
Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger left Sunday's game against the Eagles with an injured right hand, but according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, x-rays taken showed no broken bones. Coach Mike Tomlin said the hand will be examined further, but Roethlisberger thought it was OK.
