Ankle - Did not practice. Doubtful for Week 9 at Denver (Updated - 11/7/09)
Fantasy Analysis
The doctors are trying different techniques to get Timmons ready for Monday night's game, but there is still no certainty if he will be able to start against Denver. It's probably best to use healthier alternatives in Fantasy. Timmons is a No. 3 Fantasy LB when healthy.

Fantasy Analysis
Parker's status is a little up in the air right now with the emergence of Rashard Mendenhall and the fact that Mewelde Moore keeps chipping in here and there with a carry. Still, Parker should get enough action on Monday night to be worth using as a flex option, and owners in most leagues should continue to hold on to him until it's clear his role has significantly diminished.

Hopefully Ward used the bye week to heal his 33-year-old body and forget about that awful one-catch outing he had against the Vikings in Week 7. In his four games before that, Ward had averaged almost 110 yards a game, and the veteran has averaged 102.5 yards in his last two games against Denver. Start him as a solid No. 2 Fantasy WR in Week 9.

Miller disappointed in his game before the bye, with just 38 yards, but he had four touchdowns in his three games before that and Big Ben Roethlisberger loves to look his way in the red zone. Continue to view him as a stable No. 1 Fantasy TE for Week 9.

Fantasy Analysis
Roethlisberger is currently the seventh-best QB in standard Fantasy leagues, but he'll have his work cut out for him on Monday night against a pass defense that has allowed just four passing touchdowns so far in 2009. Consider Roethlisberger a low-end No. 1 or high-end No. 2 Fantasy option for Week 9.

After his breakout game in Week 4, Mendenhall has failed to hit the 80-yard mark in any of his three games since. He will likely find it tough to get there again in Week 9, so consider Mendenhall just a mid-to-low No. 2 Fantasy RB for this difficult matchup.

Wallace is coming off a bye, but he's etched his name in Fantasy owner's minds with his play this season and could be a decent No. 3 Fantasy WR option in Week 9, as the Steelers could be chucking the ball around quite a bit.

Fantasy Analysis
Holmes has gone from a must-start Fantasy WR to a No. 2 or No. 3 option this season, depending on the matchup. He always has a chance to go off for a big game, but he's too risky to start against the tough Broncos as more than a No. 3 WR.

Illness - Full practice. Questionable for Week 9 at Denver (Updated - 11/7/09)
Fantasy Analysis
It sounds like Clark will miss the game against the Broncos. The safe option in IDP leagues is to keep Clark reserved and hope he can overcome this illness soon. When healthy, he is a low-end IDP option in all leagues.

Fantasy Analysis
Moore has zero catches in his last two games and is slipping down the Fantasy RB rankings. Only use him as a low-end flex option or bye-week replacement in Week 9.
