Seattle got a 48-yard TD run from Leon Washington, a 61-yard, fourth-quarter TD catch from WR Ricardo Lockette and a steady effort from RB Marshawn Lynch, but a red-zone INT proved costly, so did a blocked FG. QB Tarvaris Jackson's inability to lead his team to a late victory showed up again as well. Seattle's defense was decent statistically, but it couldn't sustain pressure on QB John Skelton and it allowed Arizona a 131-yard rushing day despite the absence of RB Beanie Wells. -- Craig Morgan, RapidReports Correspondent
12/22/11C-B+
The Seahawks did some things well, most impressively running the ball well against the league’s best rushing defense and blocked a punt that seemed to swing the momentum. That wasn’t enough, however, to overcome a subpar game from Seattle’s run defense, and a long stretch of offensive ineptitude in the second half. San Francisco is a formidable opponent, but for a team that was playing at home and still clinging to playoff hopes, this was a step back after playing so well in the second half of the season. -- John Boyle, RapidReports Correspondent
12/15/11B+B+
Marshawn 'The Beast' Lynch couldn't get going with the game on the line, but the Seattle defense was the real beast Sunday by scoring and harassing QB Caleb Hanie throughout the second half. The Seahawks' secondary rarely allowed a Chicago receiver to get more than a few feet open, limiting yards after the catch. Special teams made Devin Hester a nonfactor. -- Gene Chamberlain, RapidReports Correspondent
12/08/11B+A-
Seattle's line struggled to get much going in the first half, but improved greatly in the second half to help RB Marshawn Lynch to his fifth 100-yard game in six games. Tarvaris Jackson was solid without having to carry the offense. The defense was solid once again, and special teams came up huge, particularly in the first quarter when WR Doug Baldwin blocked a punt, which FB Michael Robinson returned for a touchdown. -- John Boyle, RapidReports Correspondent
12/01/11A-D+
Less than a week after blowing a 10-point lead in the fourth quarter, the Seahawks bounced back with one of their most complete efforts of the season. RB Marshawn Lynch has now rushed for 100 yards or more in four of five games, and QB Tarvaris Jackson played very well even if he didn't put up gaudy numbers. The defense gave up some yards, but was opportunistic, coming up with four interceptions. -- John Boyle, RapidReports Correspondent
11/24/11D+B
The offense couldn't move the ball consistently despite a strong rushing effort from RB Marshawn Lynch, and the defense gave up 416 yards and two late touchdowns after the Seahawks had built a 10-point lead. And as has been the case all year, the Seahawks hurt themselves with tons of penalties. -- John Boyle, RapidReports Correspondent
11/17/11BA-
The Seahawks won this one because of their defense and special teams. They recorded five sacks and forced three turnovers. KR Leon Washington averaged 10.6 yards on seven punt returns and P Jon Ryan had an eye-popping 49.7-yard average that included a 71-yard bomb. -- Ron Clements, RapidReports Correspondent
11/10/11A-C-
The Seahawks improbably knocked off the first-place Ravens to end their three-game skid. The offense, led by a workhorse effort from Marshawn Lynch, was far from spectacular. The defense was solid, but it was special teams that made the difference, forcing two fumbles on kick returns, and making all five field goal attempts. -- John Boyle, RapidReports Correspondent
11/03/11C-D
The Seahawks' defense played solid in the red zone, preventing the Cowboys from scoring early. But costly turnovers, penalties and a blocked field goal hurt the Seahawks' chances of competing at the end. Tarvaris Jackson had his troubles, but a solid running game led by Marshawn Lynch's first 100-yard game of the season kept the chains moving. -- Nick Eatman, RapidReports Correspondent
10/27/11DD
The offense showed signs of improvement with Tarvaris Jackson back at QB, but they still left too many points on the board. The defense played well for the most part, but special teams letdowns, as well as some questionable coaching decisions, let the Bengals pull away for an easy road win. -- John Boyle, RapidReports Correspondent
10/20/11DB
Is there an F-minus? That's what the offense earned against an albeit increasingly stingy Cleveland defense. QB Charlie Whitehurst proved inaccurate throughout and out-of-sync with his receivers, who for the most part couldn't separate. The run and pass defense performed decently, which improved the overall grade. -- Marty Gitlin, RapidReports Correspondent
10/13/11A-D
There were too many big plays allowed by the defense, as well as allowing a punt return for a TD. Still a very big win for the Seahawks, who had just three total road wins the past two years. Matt Hasselbeck bounced back from a rough outing in a big way, and Mike Williams looked like a legitimate No. 1 receiver with 10 catches for 123 yards. -- John Boyle, RapidReports Correspondent
10/06/11BC
For everything that went wrong for Seattle, the Seahawks turned in a solid, four-quarter effort. The team had been starting slowly and had only two takeaways coming into Sunday, but scored 14 first-quarter points and came away with three interceptions and two forced fumbles. -- Alex Raskin, RapidReports Correspondent
09/29/11CB
After a terrible first half, the Seahawks rallied and nearly pulled off a remarkable comeback win. It was still a loss, but the progress shown in the passing game has to be a good sign moving forward. Defensively, however, the Seahawks were not as sharp as they were a week ago, and could not force a turnover or get to Matt Ryan. -- John Boyle, RapidReports Correspondent
09/22/11BD
It wasn't always pretty, but Seattle did enough to earn its first win of the season. The defense stepped up in the second half to protect a three-point lead, and after failing to force a turnover in the first two games, had two takeaways Sunday. Seattle's offense is still a work in progress, but an improved rushing game (122 rushing yards) is a good sign. -- John Boyle, RapidReports Correspondent
09/15/11DD+
The offense didn't cross midfield until the fourth quarter, permitted five sacks and hardly converted on third down. The defense, despite a goalline stand and a missed field goal, forced only a one punt with the outcome still in the balance. The special teams pulled up their grade. -- Chuck Finder, RapidReports Correspondent
09/08/11D+-
By the time the Seahawks offense got anything going, they were in a 16-0 hole. Defensively the Seahawks were solid, but it was not enough to overcome the slow start. A year after thriving on special teams, Seattle allowed kick- and punt-return touchdowns in the fourth quarter after cutting San Francisco's lead to two points. -- John Boyle, RapidReports Correspondent
