11/26/15WRJohn BrownHamstringQUESTIONABLEBrown (hamstring) was listed as limited on Thursday's injury report, Mike Jurecki of FOX Sports 910 Phoenix reports.

Because head coach Bruce Arians wasn't available to the media, it's unclear if Brown's designation is merely an estimate, or if the Cardinals held practice. No matter, Brown appears to be building up to an appearance Sunday in San Francisco, which could clear up as the weekend draws near.

11/26/15DECalais CampbellKneeQUESTIONABLECardinals defensive end Calais Campbell was a one-man wrecking crew Sunday against the Rams, racking up 11 tackles (10 solo), three tackles for loss, two quarterback hits, and 0.5 sacks.

Campbell was everywhere in Week 4, but the Cardinals' defense itself was unable to force a turnover, after accumulating seven (all interceptions) over the course of the first three weeks of the season. Stuck in the 50-to-75 tackle territory in each of the past five campaigns, he currently has 25 to his credit, which is a career-best pace. On the other side of the coin, the half sack Sunday was his first in the category in 2015, so he has some work to do to uphold his standard (6-to-9 sacks in six consecutive seasons).

11/26/15WRLarry FitzgeraldAnkleQUESTIONABLEFitzgerald (ankle) was a limited practice participant Wednesday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.

If Fitzgerald replicates last week's practice schedule, he'll follow Wednesday's cap in reps with a full showing Thursday, which will pave the way for active status in Week 12 at San Francisco. With a 90-yard effort this past Sunday against the Bengals, he's reached that threshold in six of 10 games this season and will look to do it again against a 49ers pass defense that ranks 27th in the NFL.

11/26/15WRMichael FloydHamstringQUESTIONABLEFloyd (hamstring) was limited in practice Wednesday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.

The appearance at practice marks Floyd's first since sustaining a hamstring injury in Week 10. While an uninhibited showing before week's end would clear up any doubt about his odds of suiting up Sunday at San Francisco, the Cardinals are more apt to make him a game-time call. In particular, head coach Bruce Arians mentioned Monday that Floyd must "open up and go" in order to play in Week 12.

11/26/15RBChris JohnsonKneeQUESTIONABLEJohnson (knee) was limited at Wednesday's practice, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.

Johnson is tending to a knee injury at the moment, and his YPC in a given game has topped out at 3.63 over the last three contests (and four of the past five). Still, he's averaged 21 carries per outing during that stretch, meaning capped reps in practice could be strategic in order to get him in a better state of health. Nonetheless, interested parties should watch his activity level as the week continues to learn if he'll be hindered Sunday at San Francisco.

11/26/15CBPatrick PetersonAnkleQUESTIONABLEPeterson (ankle) didn't practice Wednesday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.

Clearly hobbled after Sunday's victory against the Bengals, Peterson's ankle injury is of keen interest, as the Cardinals may have to do without perhaps the NFL's top-performing cornerback for a period of time. On the other hand, there is a chance that he'll be able to practice by the end of the week, which would do wonders for his potential to suit up in Week 12 at San Francisco. If the training staff decides to rest Peterson, Justin Bethel will step into the base defense at cornerback opposite Jerraud Powers.

11/26/15DECory ReddingAnkleQUESTIONABLEThe Cardinals announced that they've signed defensive end Cory Redding to a two-year contract on Wednesday.
11/26/15DTFrostee RuckerAnkleQUESTIONABLEThe Cardinals have signed veteran defensive lineman Frostee Rucker to a one-year extension, per NFL.com Insider Ian Rapoport.
11/26/15DTEd StinsonGroinQUESTIONABLEThe Cardinals placed defensive end Ed Stinson (toe) on injured reserve and promoted wideout Brittan Golden from the practice squad, the team announced.
11/26/15LBLaMarr WoodleyChestQUESTIONABLEWoodley was placed on injured reserve Thursday with a chest injury, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.

Under general manager Steve Keim, the Cardinals have taken chances on veterans with team-friendly one-year contracts, producing resurgent seasons for Karlos Dansby and Antonio Cromartie in the past. Woodley was another player in that vein, but despite starting at weak-side linebacker, he only recorded 10 tackles and one sack on 42 percent of the defensive snaps. With his season over, Dwight Freeney and Markus Golden will pick up the slack on the outside.
