12/07/16LBDavid MayoConcussionQUESTIONABLEMayo (concussion) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Steve Reed of the Associated Press reports.

Mayo likely suffered the head injury during Sunday's loss to the Seahawks, and has yet to clear the league's concussion protocol. A.J. Klein or Jeremy Cash would likely serve as Thomas Davis' backup at weakside linebacker if Mayo misses Week 14's matchup against the Chargers.

12/07/16DBDaryl WorleyConcussionQUESTIONABLEWorley (concussion) was a limited participant during Wednesday's practice, Steve Reed of the Associated Press

Worley appears to have suffered a head injury during Sunday's blowout loss to the Seahawks, and he could be in danger of missing Week 14 if he's unable to clear the league's concussion protocol. Leonard Johnson and Robert McClain would be in line for additional action at cornerback if Worley is forced to miss time.

12/05/16DLMario AddisonFootQUESTIONABLEAddison (foot) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Seahawks.

Addison did not participate in practice throughout the week, so he'll miss his second consecutive contest as a result. Charles Johnson and Wes Horton are slated to start at defensive end.

12/05/16DBKurt ColemanConcussionQUESTIONABLEColeman (concussion) was a limited participant in practice Wednesday, Steve Reed of the Associated Press reports.

Coleman missed Week 13's loss to the Seahawks as he dealt with concussion symptoms, but he may be able to return in Week 14 against the Chargers if he's able to clear the league's concussion protocol. Michael Griffin would project to get the start at strong safety if Coleman is sidelined.

12/05/16LBLuke KuechlyConcussionQUESTIONABLEKuechly (concussion) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday, Bryan Strickland of the Panthers' official site reports. "All three [also Kurt Coleman and Daryl Worley] are in the concussion protocol, but being on the practice field means they've moved to the next step," head coach Ron Rivera said. "Tomorrow morning will be very important when they visit with the medical staff."

Rivera seems to be hinting that Kuechly and company are approaching the end of their respective journeys through the concussion protocol. It's unclear if Kuechly himself only requires clearance from an independent neurologist, but his workload Thursday will impart where he stands. In the end, though, he seems poised to miss one fewer game than he did a season ago due to a concussion.

08/20/16DBTravell DixonChestQUESTIONABLEDixon left Saturday's preseason matchup with an apparent chest injury and is questionable to return, Jonathan Jones of the Charlotte Observer reports.

In his NFL debut last week, Dixon tallied three tackles against Baltimore. The Washington product has taken reps at both cornerback and safety for Carolina in the early going, but with a lot of uncertainty surrounding Dixon and his injury, it remains to be seen if he'll be able to squeak onto the roster by preseason's end.
