04/06/17LBDeAndre LevyKneeQUESTIONABLELevy underwent surgery on his right knee in an effort to repair a torn meniscus suffered during the 2016 season, Michael Rothstein of ESPN reports.

Levy was released by the Lions back in March after playing only six games during the last two seasons. Injuries have plagued the linebacker after a stellar stretch of play in 2013 and 2014, but if he is able to get healthy again, he should see an opportunity to play on an NFL club. Levy has recorded 639 tackles, 12 interceptions and two forced fumbles over his eight-year NFL career.

Bostic last played in a game while with the Patriots in 2015. He spent 2016 with the Lions but wound up on injured reserve prior to the start of the regular season. He'll compete for a depth linebacker and special teams role with the Colts in 2017.

01/25/17RBTheo RiddickWristQUESTIONABLEHead coach Jim Caldwell isn't sure if Riddick (wrist) will be available for team activities this spring,'s Kyle Meinke reports.

A recent report suggested Riddick is expected to be ready for the start of the offseason program, but his participation apparently can't be assumed. He underwent surgery on both wrists late last season, missing the final four games of the campaign. Fellow running back Ameer Abdullah (foot) has already been fully cleared for a return, but the Lions are rumored to have serious interest in adding competition via free agency or the draft. Riddick's role as the primary passing-down back is secure, while Abdullah could face serious competition for carries.

Since going undrafted out of Lehigh in 2013, Spadola had bounced around the league before joining the Lions' practice squad in 2015. He then signed a futures contract with the team at the end of the season, but suffered a torn pectoral muscle over the summer and was placed on injured reserve shortly thereafter. His future with the team beyond the 2016 campaign is uncertain.
