12/07/16LBBrian CushingBackQUESTIONABLECushing disclosed Wednesday that he's been playing with broken bones in his back, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.

The back injury, which Cushing described as two fractures, cropped up during the loss to the Chargers in Week 12, but he hasn't missed time because of it. He's rung up 13 tackles, including one for a loss, and a quarterback hit the last two games.

12/07/16RBLamar MillerAnkleQUESTIONABLEMiller (ankle/ribs) was listed as limited at Wednesday's practice.

Miller's limitations Wednesday are presumably maintenance-related and the Texans' top back figures to move toward being removed from the team's Week 14 injury report with continued practice participation Thursday.

12/07/16DLVince WilforkGroinQUESTIONABLEWilfork (groin) is active Monday night against the Raiders.

Wilfork was previously questionable with a groin injury but had always been expected to play. Per usual, the 12-year veteran will likely assume his usual starting nose tackle role.

12/05/16LBJadeveon ClowneyElbowQUESTIONABLEClowney (elbow) returned to practice Thursday, Deepi Sidhu of the team's official site reports.

Clowney was inactive for Sunday's loss in Green Bay, but his return to the practice field Thursday is a reassuring sign that the defensive end is making progress. Head coach Bill O'Brien still lists Clowney as day-to-day, so look for more updates to come after Friday's practice session. Should he miss another week, Joel Heath would likely pick up the spot start.

12/04/16DBJohnathan JosephRibsQUESTIONABLEJoseph (ribs) did not practice Wednesday.

12/04/16WRBraxton MillerShoulderQUESTIONABLEMiller has been diagnosed with a shoulder sprain and could play Sunday against the Colts, Ian Rapoport of NFL.com reports.

Miller laid on the field for quite some time after injuring his shoulder in Sunday's loss to the Packers, but he appears to have avoided any sort of serious setback, as he is considered day-to-day. Miller's availability for Week 14 will likely depend on how much work he is able to get in at practice over the next several days.
