Packers' Kentrell Brice: Injures shoulder Sunday
by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com

Brice injured his shoulder during Sunday's NFC championship game against the Falcons, NFL.com reports.

The severity of Brice's injury wasn't revealed. He's under contract with the Packers for the next two seasons but will need to return to full health in order to compete for a reserve role in the secondary this summer.

Packers' Ty Montgomery: Suffers injury to ribs
by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com

Montgomery injured his ribs during Sunday's NFC championship game against the Falcons, NFL.com reports.

Montgomery went down in the first half with an unspecified injury to his ribs and did not return, finishing the game with 17 rushing yards across three totes. Christine Michael took over as the lead back in his absence. While the Packers' season is over after Sunday's loss to the Falcons, Montgomery enters the offseason as the presumed favorite for starting duties in 2017, considering teammate Eddie Lacy (ankle) is set to hit the open market as an unrestricted free agent.

Packers' Jared Cook: Scores in garbage time of NFC championship loss
by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com

Cook caught seven of 12 targets for 78 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 44-21 loss to the Falcons in the NFC championship game.

Cook led his team in catches and targets while coming up just four yards short of Randall Cobb's high-water mark. His one-yard touchdown was of the garbage-time variety, as it came with 6:43 left and the Falcons leading 44-15. The 29-year-old tight end's late-season chemistry with quarterback Aaron Rodgers should have owners excited for his second campaign in Green Bay next season.

Packers' Jordy Nelson: Finds pay dirt in NFC championship loss
by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com

Nelson (ribs) caught six of nine targets for 67 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 44-21 NFC championship loss to the Falcons.

Nelson caught both of his targets for 42 yards on the first drive, but was held to just three receptions for 22 yards on his next six targets before getting into the end zone from three yards out late in the third quarter. The veteran wide receiver did well to even be out there after fracturing at least two ribs against the Giants two weeks ago. He should be fully healthy by the start of the 2017 campaign.

Packers' Sam Shields: Concussion symptoms linger
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Shields (concussion) admitted he's still experiencing concussion symptoms, Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Shields appeared in just one game this season after sustaining a concussion in the season opener. While he stated he hasn't given up on playing football again, the fact he's still experiencing symptoms suggests this injury could threaten his career. Look for further updates on his health throughout the offseason.
