The former joint SEC Defensive Player of the Year participated in the NFL's first-ever veterans combine earlier this year, where he was confident he would be playing professional football again.

There were a lot of vets in here on Thursday when the guys got here. He's excited to be here. He'll definitely know what to do when he&'s able to get out there."
