Angels' Huston Street: On for spring debut
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Street (knee) is making his 2017 Cactus League debut Friday, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

Coming off a 6.45 ERA during (surprise) an injury-shortened 2016, Street is battling for the closer role with Cam Bedrosian (groin) and Andrew Bailey, among others. His body of work and name recognition may land him the job initially, but it's wise for fantasy players to remain skeptical, especially considering his health issues and the talent Bedrosian boasts when healthy.

Yankees' Michael Pineda: Roughed up in loss
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Pineda (7-4) allowed seven runs on six hits over four innings Sunday against the Rangers. He struck out four and walked one, while taking the loss.

Three home runs will sink any pitcher, and Pineda was no exception Sunday. Pineda entered with a 6-1 mark and a 1.92 ERA at home this season, but that did not matter against the Rangers. He's now 0-4 in six career starts against Texas.

by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Boling (shoulder) feels he'll be ready for the start of training camp, Jim Owczarski of reports. "Everything's been going well. It's coming along well," Boling said. "I've been able to work out and do pretty much everything in the weight room. Just kind of keep taking the time and I should be back here pretty soon."

Boling underwent shoulder surgery this offseason after finishing the 2016 campaign on injured reserve. He's expected to return to his usual role as a first-string guard when healthy.

Yankees' Gary Sanchez: Hits ninth home run of month
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Sanchez went 1-for-3 with a home run, three RBI and one walk Sunday against the Rangers.

Sanchez's three-run blast put the Yankees back in the game, but they ultimately lost 7-6. In June, Sanchez has hit nine home runs and has 25 RBI in 82 plate appearances. Right now, Sanchez remains one of the premier catchers in the game.
