They had to beat Denver to save their season, but now they get a big one against the Bengals on the road. To have a real chance to win the division, they need that one.

At 3-3, they can't afford a loss to the Broncos this week. It will be interesting to see if the bye helped wake up that defense.

Three consecutive losses have this team reeling. They sure don't look like the same defense. The secondary isn't very good right now. Who can they stop? They get a bye, followed by Denver.

It's hard to believe that defense didn't keep a lead late against the Bengals. Now they get Brett Favre. Here's one thing they need to do: Let Joe Flacco loose more. They didn't against the Bengals, and it cost them.

I have some concerns about their secondary. Even Ed Reed hasn't played at his normal level. They have a big one with Cincinnati this Sunday.

Joe Flacco is the biggest difference in this team. The defense is still top notch, but Flacco's passing ability takes them up a level. He can win games now with his right arm.

The best thing to come out of the first two weeks is how well Joe Flacco has played. He has five touchdown passes in two games. But that didn't look like a Ravens defense in San Diego.

These aren't the same Ravens. That offense can be explosive with Joe Flacco.

Their key will be how much they turn the offense over to Joe Flacco. I think he's ready for a bigger dose of it, but that's not the usual Ravens way.

They found their quarterback last season in Joe Flacco. But who does he throw to this season? Will Derrick Mason come back? Their passing game has to be better to take the next step.

I don't know if this is a tremendous surprise to anyone else, but it's really taking me some time to get out of the old mindset! In fact, I just had to go back to the NFL.com standings webpage to make sure I've got it right. The
