The run defense is really bad and they don't have the offense to make up for it. Did you ever think they would long to get Trent Edwards back so much?

You have to give them credit for two straight road wins that get them to 3-4. If they can beat the Texans this week to get back to .500, the playoffs would still be a possibility.

They've played well in their first two games, especially on offense. Fred Jackson might keep Marshawn Lynch on the bench. Can they slow the Saints?

Maybe they're a little better than expected. They had that game against the Patriots and let it get away. The defense played a nice game, but suffered a few key injuries.

Their woeful play led to the firing of offensive coordinator Turk Schonert last week. It's not a good start for coach Dick Jauron, who must win or he's gone.

Haven't we seen this before?

8 games into this season, and the Bills play a decent 3 quarters, against NE, NO, HOUSTON. The Bills have one of the worse statistical offenses in the NFL and are still in these games. Then comes the 4th quarter, might as well go home or turn off the TV at that point, because WE'VE SEEN IF BEFORE.

Fitzpatrick v Edwards

Just wondering what anyone else thinks about Fitzpatrick's play at QB. By no means has he been putting up great numbers but he has shown that he is willing to throw the ball down the field, which I like. I'm not talking about the 40-50 yards bombs because Edwards threw those occasionally as well, but the 10-20 yard slants and outs, which Edwards just will not throw.
