It wasn't pretty against the Browns, but they went to 8-3. The one concern I have is they aren't passing it that well right now. That has to get better down the stretch.

The way their defense is playing, they will be around come January. They can run, throw and play defense. Yes, they're good.

At 5-2 after their bye, they get a rematch with the Ravens this week. They can throw it better now than when they beat them the first time, which should help.

Now that Carson Palmer has played his best game, it will be interesting to see if they start to score more points. Cedric Benson really has it going running the football.

Just when we think they aren't the same Bengals, they go and lay an egg like they did against the Texans. Now they are forced to play without Antwan Odom, their best pass rusher, who is out of the year.

They are for real. The defense is really improved. I still think the offense can do a lot more, and will as the season moves along. Cedric Benson adds the much-needed running dimension.

They've played close in every one of their games, and now get a chance to show they are for real when they go to Baltimore to play the Ravens. Carson Palmer has played big with the game on the line this season.

They have to avoid a letdown against the Browns. Past Bengals teams might not have, but this team is better. Even so, they need to be careful.
