Losing to the Rams drops them down a few spots. They are competing, which is a good sign for this young team.

Coming out of their bye, they still don't know about Matthew Stafford. Daunte Culpepper hasn't played that well in his place.

They aren't sure when rookie quarterback Matt Stafford will be back. They get a much-needed bye this week with all the injuries they have.

They will be in a lot of high-scoring games. Their pass defense isn't that good. It will take another draft to fix that.

Matthew Stafford is making progress, which is the most important thing about this season. They will not be an easy out each week.

What Matt Stafford did against the Redskins is a good indicator of things to come in the future. Be patient, Detroit. You have the right guy.

It was better against Minnesota, which is progress. Stop asking who should play quarterback. No matter what happens, it has to be Matt Stafford.

There will be a lot of tough days for Matthew Stafford, but that's part of the learning process. The bigger concern is that defense. Yecch.

They are in the beginning stages of rebuilding mode. They will win three or four games, which will be an improvement.

Put Matt Stafford in now. And then let him take his lumps as he builds for the future. Don't delay his growing process. Jim Schwartz is smart enough to realize that.
I know I'm way off topic here but we do (many of us anyway) live in Detroit. My good friend has a small role in the new movie release "Stick it in Detroit" and I was wondering if anyone here has seen it yet. Aside from a couple of token screenings, the film opened today and seems to be getting some good reviews, even if it does poke a bit of fun at our fine city.&nb

Gentlemen, as much as Linehan has been running the ball this year, I see nothing coming of it except the Lions running right into a top 3 pick in next year's draft. Believe it, if you havent already. I didnt want to, but everything says that they will and more wins are unlikely at this point.
First I'll start and say that Raiola is at best a very average center, that stays healthy most of the time. He's under sized and gets blown off very easy. I can understand some of his fustrations, but try being a normal joe who goes to work everyday, but still finds ways to go to the games and pay his salary. Witch i'm sure is quite abit of cabbage. what did he think that people bashing Stafford,

1. Megatron is still practicing though he's listed as limited and will be a game-time decision. Then again, every injury becomes a game-time decision with Schwartz. I believe CJ will play.
2. DE Hunter and FB Felton are also limited and practiced. Hunter has that killer instinct like Levy; he could be a game-changer in the future. Felton will be a nice addition with Smith Hurt. Morris a

Now that we're at the midway point of the season it's time to take a look at where our team is at. Since our record speaks for it's self, I'm going to take a look at the individual players and determine who should stay and who should go.
