They should send Belichick a Christmas card. What a gift. They face a tough road game this week at Baltimore.
11/10/200911
They're finding ways to win, but they aren't playing great. The offense is moving the ball, but not scoring touchdowns. That can't happen this week against New England.
11/03/200911
They didn't look great against the 49ers, but they found a way. That's what good teams do. It has to be good having Bob Sanders back again.
10/27/200911
When will they be challenged? Maybe when the Patriots visit in November. Until then, they will keep this thing going forward with Peyton Manning leading the way.
10/20/200912
They come off the bye at the top of the rankings. They really shouldn't be challenged for another couple of weeks. The bye helped their injured players and we know Peyton Manning is on his way to an MVP.
10/13/200922
The scary thing is they really haven't been healthy yet. The bye week will help in that area. Peyton Manning is on his way to another MVP.
10/06/200922
They are quietly off to a fantastic start. Peyton Manning has thrown for more than 300 yards in four games to open the season. And the defense is playing well with the lead. Those pass rushers are good.
09/29/200922
They have to be thrilled with their 3-0 start because they haven't been close to being full strength. Watch out when they get their players -- see: Bob Sanders -- healthy.
09/22/200925
They showed Miami what's important in the NFL: Scoring points, not ball control. They've played two close games, but 2-0 is still 2-0, right?
09/15/200953
It wasn't pretty against the Jaguars, but they found a way to hold on. The concern now is how they make up for not having Anthony Gonzalez on offense. That hurts.

(POLL) Bill Polian is brilliant.  He is one of the best at spotting talent -- but which would you consider his best draft?

Flat out, Indy's D needs to do more bump and run coverage. The fact that they hardly do it truly boggles me. Yes I know the cover 2 scheme is not designed with that in mind but think about it logically here:

Hayden, Powers and Lacey are

I like the idea of going for it in the sense of hey my guys are better than your guys and we can get 2 yards.  That said, I think to punt and make the opposing team go 65-70 yards is the route to go.  I know it's Manning, but if you don't g ...(more)
