They will be a .500 team at best. The defense isn't very good, so they will play a lot of high-scoring games. The good news is they have a winnable game against Kansas City this week.
10/27/20091820
They come out of their bye week with a chance to get over .500 if they can beat the Titans. The Chiefs come to Jacksonville after that, so 5-3 is possible.
10/20/20092022
They head to the bye at 3-3, which is better than most expected at that point. They need to spend the bye trying to find a pass rush.
10/13/20092221
They get the perfect tonic for their showing in Seattle -- the St. Louis Rams. But the Jaguars aren't very good on defense and they have no pass rush with only four sacks.
10/06/20092124
After what happened in Week 2 against the Cardinals, winning two consecutive games bodes well for the rest of the way. This is a young team gaining confidence.
09/29/20092427
Their offense came alive against the Texans, which is a good sign for the rest of the season. But that defense isn't very good. It has to play better.
09/22/20092722
How far have they fallen since 2007? The real problems are on defense. They can't rush the passer, so the opposing quarterbacks have a field day. Just ask Kurt Warner.
09/15/20092223
Here's another team that has issues getting big plays in the passing game. That has to be better as they move forward. The defense looks better than expected.
09/08/200923-
They showed a much-improved pass offense in the preseason. Now comes the tough part: carrying it over to the real games.
07/28/20092224
This will be their rebuilding season, even if they don't want to admit it. There will be a lot of young players being featured. They will be playoff ready again in 2010.

(POLL) Not of the game, of the season. We are now approaching the second half of the season, and the Jaguars are off to a respectable 4-4 start. We can sit here and be like wow, we could be 5-3, or 6-2, or 2-6, but there is no need for that because we are 4-4. I think that is incredible. I will look at it like the glass is half full. Last year we ...(more)

Kansas City didn;t beat the Jaguars like a "drum".  Sorry!  The Jaguars are now 4-4 but we once again gave up over 250 passing yards.  The run defense didn't look bad holding Jamaal Charles to under 40 yards.  We only gave up one pass for over 40 yards ...(more)

(POLL) 1. KC is coming off the bye week pissed like a mo-fo and will be excited to win for coach Haley after he got embaressed by his "franchise player" LJ.

2. Jammal Charles and Kolby Smith will be running the ball and the o-line will be healthy again. LJ will be suspended or benched. Both positives.

3.
