The defense, which made so much progress, is now so depleted by injuries that it will have trouble stopping anybody. At least the offense made some strides against the Chargers.

This team has 17 players on injured reserve and a rookie quarterback who looks way too jumpy in the pocket. You won't win many games with that combination.
