Jack Del Rio got another year, which some question. Does his quarterback get the same?
01/05/20102119
It's a quarterback-driven league and they don't have one who can drive then. They have to get one in the first round.
12/29/20091915
Their season has gone sour with three consecutive losses. They need to get pass-rush help. Quarterbacks have cut that secondary to shreds.
12/22/20091515
This was a rebuilding year, so even sniffing the playoffs in December was gravy. One thing is certain now: They have to draft a quarterback.
12/15/20091513
Their playoff chances pretty much come down to beating Indianapolis on Thursday. We know that won't be easy.
12/08/20091316
If they can win two of the next three, starting Sunday against the Dolphins, they could be a playoff team. Anyone pick that? Didn't think so.
12/01/20091613
As long as they don't go to the West Coast again, they will be fine. They scored three points in two games there. Ouch.
11/24/20091316
If the playoffs started today, they'd be in. Wow. They aren't winning pretty, but they're finding a way.
11/17/20091617
Don't look now, but they really are in the playoff hunt. The schedule is really soft, which will help their chances.
11/10/20091720
They go to the second half at 4-4, which is a good sign for this young team. At some point, though, they have to win a game on the road like the one they have this week at the Jets.

His going rate is abouta 6th or 7th rond CONDITIONAL pick many believe. But he is due over 5 MM. That is a pretty expensive backup. BUT if utalized correctly, could be a good thing. DMac complained that when Michael Vick got put into the game in the WildCat is kind of disrupted the flow of the offense. But to be honest, our offen ...(more)

I was looking at a mock draft done by draftcountdown.com.  Two of the names they have in the first round for the Jaguars is Derrick Morgan and Jason Pierre Paul.  Jason is aight.  But Derrick, however, I can see wearing a Jaguars uniform.  He's quick off the line in pads and reads the play well, he's ...(more)

  • After experimenting with a 3-4 scheme in 2009, the Jaguars still stay in a base 4-3 alignment that Smith hopes will be an "attack defense."  Jacksonville ranked dead last in the league with 14 sacks last season.  Smith also expects "tighter coverage" in the secondary from up-and-down cornerbacks ...(more)

Ten years ago 99-00 the Jaguars were on the door step of the Super Bowl.  We all know what happend.  It was awesome to see Mark Brunell get a ring.  I know he rode the bench all year but for many years he quarterback our Jaguars.  He led us to the AF ...(more)

Last offseason, at the end of January we only had 13 new season ticket seats sold. In January 2008, ZERO. In January 2010? 1300!
