Tom Brady cemented himself as the best QB of the Super Bowl era, but the young talent on defense will again make this team a Super Bowl contender next season.
It wasn't pretty against the Jets, but was that a product of looking ahead to the postseason? They need to get the offense cranked back up.
They have risen to the top of the rankings and right now look like the best team in the league. The No. 1 seed in the AFC is theirs if they win two.
They went to San Diego and showed they should be the top seed in the AFC. They don't lose back-to-back games often under Bill Belichick.
They didn't play that well against the Packers, but it was close. They stay as the best AFC team.
They head to Green Bay on a roll. They can run it. They can throw it. And the defense is playing well. That's a nice combination.
They are really clicking on both sides of the ball now. They face a tough three-game stretch at home against the Lions, at Green Bay and at San Diego.
They found their groove before the bye. They have to hope the time off didn't kill it. I doubt it did.
So much for all the talk of Tom Brady being done. Is he on fire or what? This is the AFC's best team right now.
It's funny to see them up this high considering where they were a month ago. They've righted things in a big way.
