They have a firm grip on the division heading to the second half, but to have a chance at the top seed in the conference they need to win at Indy. The way their offense is getting cranked up, it's definitely possible.
11/03/200955
They come off the bye with a chance to take a real hold of the division by beating Miami. You know they'll be ready for the Wildcat.

Nothing like getting the Tennessee Titans and Tampa Bay Buccaneers in successive weeks to help fix all that ails you. Tom Brady has come alive.
10/20/2009710
What we saw Sunday is what we've come to expect from Tom Brady. As the season moves along, we'll see more of it. It's a matter of timing.

One of the glaring things that showed up against the Broncos was their lack of a pass rush. They have to be better there -- or they can forget about a Super Bowl.
10/06/200977
Who could have imagined their game at Denver would be a big one early? It is. They still aren't clicking just yet on offense.
09/29/200978
Tom Brady is starting to show signs of coming to life. That's bad news for the rest of the league. Fred Taylor is running the ball well, which helps.
09/22/200981
Where has the offense gone? What has happened to the big play? This isn't what we've come to expect with the Patriots. Tom Brady looks jumpy.
09/15/200911
It wasn't what we expected, but Tom Brady pulled out a win after a shaky start. The defense didn't play that well. They should send flowers and a case of steaks to Leodis McKelvin for his fumble.
09/08/20091-
Good luck stopping their offense. Brady will once again put up some huge numbers. The key for their Super Bowl push will be that defense. It is faster.

As a Patriots fan, this first stretch of games has been a bit troubling at times simply because it really seemed as though there were still a ton of questions that they had not yet answered-- is Tom Brady back?  How is the defense going to play considering all the key ...(more)

Here we go, it's the annual regular season game of the year.

Let me preface my post by congratulating both teams on once again rising against adversity to be at the top of their league. I think that fans of both teams can agree that this has more to do with how these organizations continue to re-load year after year than it has to do with simply Brady and Manning. Indianapolis and New

There's been a clear pattern to the way the Pats' pass defense has been going.  First they concentrated on hitting--preventing the long breakaway plays that plagued them last year.  Now they're tightening up the coverage.
