They get a chance to put a real grip on the division if they can beat the Falcons next Monday in New Orleans. That would put them three up at midseason.

They served notice to the rest of the league by the way they handled the Giants. Drew Brees and that offense got it cranked up again. They need to be careful of a letdown against Miami this week.

Their bye came at a time they probably didn't want it since they were playing so well. It will be interesting to watch that defense matched up against that Giants offense.

They haven't trailed at any point this season. That says loads about the Saints. The defensive growth is really impressive. They are off and then have the Giants in two weeks.

Even with the passing game not clicking, they found a way at Buffalo. Now comes the fun stuff: Their passing game against the Jets defense. Can't wait.

They play with their foot on the pedal all game long. It's a treat to watch. Drew Brees is on fire and Sean Payton doesn't let up. The defense is still iffy.

Stop them if you can. That offense will put up some huge numbers this season. Sean Payton, the best play-caller in the NFL, has quite an arsenal to use.
