The next step will be letting Mark Sanchez do more. They have to throw it better in 2010. And they will.
01/05/20101111
That defense is special. It led the league in scoring defense. My question is whether the Jets pass it well enough.
12/29/20091117
The Jets have to win against Cincinnati and they are in the playoffs. Don't count on the Bengals sitting starters. They need it to have a chance to be the third seed.
12/22/20091716
How can they lose that game at home to the Falcons? Here's how: Mark Sanchez is struggling. They have to get more from him.
12/15/20091618
They have a tough closing schedule, but helping might be the Colts clinching the No. 1 seed and the Bengals maybe playing for nothing in the final week.
12/08/20091820
They kept their playoff hopes alive last week against the Bills. But now the concern is Mark Sanchez and his knee.
12/01/20092020
They're still alive, but barely. They still don't look close to being the team that jumped to a 3-0 start.
11/24/20092018
Mark Sanchez is playing like a rookie. But it doesn't mean he should sit down. He needs to grow and playing is the right way.
11/17/20091816
If they don't win this week at New England, which won't be easy, they can kiss the playoffs goodbye. Were they overrated at 3-0? Yes.
11/10/20091619
They come out of their bye at .500 and face another .500 team in Jacksonville. They can't afford another loss, not with New England the following week.

In two years from now the NY Jets will be THE BEST team in the NFL I have NO DOUBT ABOUT IT. The only thing that held the Jets back this year was a rookie QB, but year he should be better and by year 3 he will be an above average QB. The Defense will be even better (especially when we have our big DT back). This team is lik

I was just looking at the list of free agent OT's available and we can easily sign a veteran to upgrade Wayne Hunter.  I don't think we'll have to draft one this year.  I would let Hunter go and grab a veteran guy like Pasho's, Barnes, Heyer, Cook, Streif, or Terry.  I just don't think they'd be that much more expe ...(more)

The big two quarterbacks in the last decade have been Tom Brady and Peyton Manning
Brady has had the edge in the championships, going 3 Super Bowl wins and 1 loss since 2001 - to Peyton's single 2006 Super Bowl win.
Peyton used to own all the big

It just struck me the other day watching the Freeney highlights while they discussed his ankle injury.  Jerry Hughes is a clone.  Hughes is a smaller guy with a ton of speed who likes to use spins instead of power moves to get the the QB.  I'd be really happy getting a guy like him at 29.
