There is no way they should have lost to the Dolphins at home, but at 4-4 they have been way too inconsistent. How about some special-teams work this week?
10/27/20091516
Having problems? Play the Oakland Raiders. They heal all. That was a must-win for the Jets.
10/20/20091613
Three weeks have turned Mark Sanchez from the star into a goat. If he plays like that one more week, a change could be coming.
10/13/2009136
Two road games, two losses. That has to be a concern. The defense struggled at Miami. Now the schedule gets easier, which should help them go on a little run.
10/06/200965
Mark Sanchez had his first real rookie moment against the Saints last week. That should be it for a while. This is a good team.
09/29/200956
Rex Ryan loves a challenge. He has one this week in the Saints offense. For Mark Sanchez, it will be his first major road test. The Superdome will be loud. Does he go to 4-0?
09/22/2009616
Defense, defense and more defense. Watch out when Mark Sanchez gets even better. This team is better than I expected.
09/15/20091624
Maybe we underestimated this team. If Mark Sanchez is as good as he was in the opener, they will be good. Rex Ryan brings a nice attitude to the defense.
09/08/200924-
They made the right decision to start Mark Sanchez, but now they have to be patient. There will be growing pains.
07/28/20092421
New coach Rex Ryan brings a fresh approach to the Jets. But that won't matter if they don't get good quarterback play from whoever wins the job -- see Mark Sanchez.

Here's my take...

Sanchez: B- Shows signs of being a very good QB. He's mobile, has a good arm and excellent football instincts. He's also bright. However, at times looks lost and like a QB with only 15 college starts behind him. The remainder of the season is very important for his development.

I have heard a lot of very strange things this year regarding the Jets, but today took the biscuit: people questioning Mark Sanchez and hypothesising that we would be just as good with Clemens and questioning whether Rex is the right guy to lead this team, a massive eig ...(more)

It wasn't long ago that most on this board praised Eric Mangini.

Now a year later they are screaming for his removal in Cleveland.

Yes you all know who you are. The same unrealistic Jet fans who of course knew better than I that Mangini was going to become the reincarnation of Bill Belichik.

Now you are all saying that rookies are allowed to make mistakes

Well since we have no game to talk about this week I'll give you guys some of my early thoughts on it.  I think we definately need to upgrade at WR and CB.  I believe Lito is due a 4 mil roster bonus which I highly doubt Mr. T is paying him.  I think he took a chance on Lito if we made a run this year.  Definately worth the 4th round risk.  There are a couple CB's in this ...(more)
