They got back on track against the 49ers, a perfect tonic to heal their ailing ways. Now comes a real challenge with the Steelers coming to town.
They are in danger of not making the playoffs. The mystique is gone.
We will know if they are back if they can beat the Cardinals and make it a division race. That defense is starting to look like the one we expected to see.
They head to the bye at 4-4, thanks to that late-game drive against the Cowboys. They have a big game with Arizona after the bye.
The defense rebounded in a big way against the 49ers last Thursday. That's the Seattle defense we've come to expect.
What has happened to that defense? It used to be a calling card. That unit is struggling.
They blew a game they should have won at Cincinnati. At 2-3, they have to get it going.
Seattle got away with one Monday might, thanks to the officials. The defense was special, but now they have that tough test at Cincinnati.
Getting back home helped get this team back on track. Getting Kam Chancellor back helped the defense get a shutout.
At 0-2, they are in a big hole. They have a good chance to begin the turnaround against the Bears this Sunday. They will come out with fire in their eyes.
