Texans defensive end Gary Walker said some changes need to be made after Sunday's 23-14 loss to the Indianapolis Colts.

Walker wasn't specific, but his feelings echoed the sentiment of the Texans locker room after the team lost for the fifth time in six games.

Clearly, the third-year Texans are tried of losing.

"We got beat again," Walker said. "It's getting old. I don't understand why. The things we do to beat ourselves, it's frustrating. It's time for a change."

Walker didn't care the Texans held the high-powered Colts to their lowest point total of the season, or that Peyton Manning's pursuit of NFL history was postponed for at least another week. Never mind the moral victory of avoiding an embarrassing blowout like the 35-point loss the Colts handed the Texans in Week 11.

"I don't care if they're the hottest team in the league and we held them to the lowest score of the season. It's time to start winning," Walker said. "We talk every week about all the positive stuff we can take from losses. You can take positive stuff from a win, too. Let's talk about winning."

Veteran linebacker Jamie Sharper said the team is headed in the right direction. He added the Texans just needed somebody to lead them there.

"I was done with losing that first season," Sharper said. "No more positives. You have to produce. Somebody has to produce. Somebody has to show us the way. There's a light at the end of the tunnel, but who's going to direct us there? We need somebody to direct us to wins instead of close games."

Asked what he meant, Sharper was vague in his responses.

"I don't know," he said.

Heh, yeah I know we did in the end but I say that because I don't feel as bad as I usually would. It was the type of lost that leaves a sick feeling in your stomach as it all hinged on a kick in the end but when I sat back and thought about it....I was proud of how the Texans played.

Let's really look at it. One analyst said 'Thi

As usual, it's a mixed bag with this Texans team. They finally managed to put two wins together, which is a nice change of pace. But I'm still reeling from the Jacksonville and Arizona games. This was supposed to be, by all accounts, the easy part of our schedule, and we came out at 4-3. I don't feel any threat from within the division outs ...(more)

Or are the Texans getting penalized on every play?  I am not watching this one, just tracking it online.  So I can't say that the penalties are bogus, but it does seem like you have to play a cleaner game against teams like the Patriots and ...(more)

First I want to say I am a Cowboys fan. No I am not a band wagon fan. Far from it. I just want to wish you good luck when you take on the undefeated Colts. I truely believe you have the better team. The Texans have played some ...(more)

I do mean offensive in a bad way. The run blocking is pitiful and the pass blocking is average at best. With Chester Pitts out at guard, Duane Brown still learning how to do his job, Chris Meyers playing center? Hey he is a nice guy. Casey Studdard is adequate a ...(more)

Well this is a huge blow to the team. Daniels is apparently going to miss the rest of the season with that knee injury.

Check out the story behind this injury:

Johnson was injured when he caught a 44-yard pass on what proved to be the winning field-goal drive. He fell on the ball, coughed up blood and went to the sideline.

Some others need to take some heat. Defensively we played strong in the second half. No doubt about that. First half...we looked like we were a little league team. But I was proud of how they played the second half I don't even want to harp on this for now because at this point they are showing some signs of maturing and progressing. Maybe they are finally gathering this system or realizing they h ...(more)

Any one have any predictions on this game?  Crabtree’s 1 st NFL start and homecoming as well.  I think the Texans will prevail and win the ball through the air in the 2 nd half, after we realize we can’t establish the run.  We ...(more)

Bengals fan here hoping that this weekend's game will be a good one.

Always nervous about my boys playing a great offense like Houston's, especially since the Texans kicked the living crap out of Cincinnati the last time they played!

The Bengals look different f
