--QB Chad Henne had to run a lap after blowing a snap count. He said he, "deserved it," and the last time he had a similar punishment was back in high school for, "cussing."

--DT Anthony Toribio was the only college free agent tryout player signed so far by the Dolphins after just one practice last weekend. The 6-foot-1, 305-pound Miami native said he couldn't believe it when Parcells told him he made the team because of his hustle and conditioning. "I was like, 'Man, the Big Tuna told me what really got me on this team was my hustle and my conditioning. That's a pretty big compliment coming from the big guy."

--DE Phillip Merling seemed to still be struggling with his surgically repaired hernia at last weekend's rookie minicamp, however, the overall No. 32 pick of the draft said that he, "naturally," walks with a limp.

--WR Justin Wynn was one of several college free agent receivers signed by the Dolphins last week, but he's the only one who hadn't played organized football since 2004 at Grand Rapids (Mich.) Community College so he could work two jobs to take care of his mother and siblings.

"I took on the challenge. My mom was laid off at the factory and I didn't want to see her frown and stress. Now, look where I am. God blessed me," Wynn said.

--K Radamez Rubio Gaytan, an unsigned free agent whose only kicking experience came at college in Mexico City, had a translator following him around at practice last weekend. "The coaches tell me I have potential." If Gaytan, 26, can't catch on with an NFL team, then he can always fall back on his other talent. He's a chef, who specializes in "Mediterranean fusion," fish dishes.

--DE Jason Taylor is still barely alive in the "Dancing with the Stars" competition, and Sparano said that the widely reported feud over the six-time Pro Bowler missing voluntary workouts has been, "overblown."

"I think it's been overblown. I've said this before; I said it several weeks ago. I understand what Jason is doing. Jason and I have spoke and that's really all that matters. Jason and I stay in contact. As long as I know what's going on with Jason and he knows what's going on with me, I think we're in good shape," Sparano said.

QUOTE TO NOTE
"Out here on the field, I am really going a million miles an hour and my interaction with him was minimal out here when we were out on the field. I think yesterday he kind of yelled at me one point and said, 'you're starting to sound like somebody else I know.' I think he was referring to himself and that is not a bad thing." -- Tony Sparano on Dolphins intimidating czar Bill Parcells' watching practices last weekend but not interfering.

Hey Everyone,

I hope you all had a nice holiday yesterday!  As I was looking over the internet, I saw an article on profootballtalk.com that mentioned where Charlie Weis might go if he is let loose by Notre Dame.  Miami was mentioned because of his ties to Bill Parcells, but I wanted to know if you think it would be a good idea.  Of course, I know nothing has been decided

(On the biggest preparation he has made in his first seven starts) - "I think getting accustomed to the wide outs and just feeling the rhythm to the passing game and really anticipating a lot of throws and making smarter decisions and going the right place with the ball is the biggest key right now."

As I read some of our frustrating posts concerning the loss to the Buffalo Bills, I have to wonder something..... did we REALLY expect the Dolphins to make the playoffs this year? And dont get me wrong, we are still very much in it, mostly because we play all of the teams we will be ...(more)

This list is unofficial list I found in Profootball weekly. The players in the RFA with an asterisk are players who will become unrestricted if a new CBA is reached prior to March. if the NFL goes into an uncapped year without a CBA than the players with asterisk are restricted. The article also mentions a clause in Ronnie Brown ...(more)

The 16-0 Indianapolis Colts vs. the 16-0 New Orleans Saints playing in the Super Bowl in Miami.

That would obviously mean one team will finish the season undefeated in MIAMI in front of those collective blowhards known as the 1972

Since I'm extremely pissed about yesterday's loss, I decided to create and thread where all of us Dolphins fans can blow off some steam or rant about how frustrated we are.

Finally!

Another player that I've been waiting to read in the news that they have been released. And finally, the day has come.
I've never liked him. He wasn't a good DE, so they decided to move him to OLB, and he wasn't all that good there. He's slightly below average LB. Solid tackler, but bad in coverage, slow, and just not a play maker.

The only question I have

He is the real deal. I want him wearing a Dolphin jersey next year. For those of you who do not know him, he is a 6-5 WR at Missouri. He was sidelined by injury much of the past few seasons; however, when he was healthy he beat out Jeremy Maclin for the starting WR job. Now that he is healthy this year-- he is producing in a big ...(more)

With all of the injuries that happened this past week it should have an affect on the AFC playoff picture. The fact that everyone in the AFC North lost gives the Dolphins alittle bit of an edge on the rest of the year too. Big Ben getting concussion like symptoms and Batch needing surgery and will miss the rest of the season can sh ...(more)

Nothing like watching a team with the division still on the line coming into a game flat as could be. Apparently the Fins expected the Bills hand them the game.. Piss poor game calling cost us this game.
