--QB Chad Henne had to run a lap after blowing a snap count. He said he, "deserved it," and the last time he had a similar punishment was back in high school for, "cussing."
--DT Anthony Toribio was the only college free agent tryout player signed so far by the Dolphins after just one practice last weekend. The 6-foot-1, 305-pound Miami native said he couldn't believe it when Parcells told him he made the team because of his hustle and conditioning. "I was like, 'Man, the Big Tuna told me what really got me on this team was my hustle and my conditioning. That's a pretty big compliment coming from the big guy."
--DE Phillip Merling seemed to still be struggling with his surgically repaired hernia at last weekend's rookie minicamp, however, the overall No. 32 pick of the draft said that he, "naturally," walks with a limp.
--WR Justin Wynn was one of several college free agent receivers signed by the Dolphins last week, but he's the only one who hadn't played organized football since 2004 at Grand Rapids (Mich.) Community College so he could work two jobs to take care of his mother and siblings.
"I took on the challenge. My mom was laid off at the factory and I didn't want to see her frown and stress. Now, look where I am. God blessed me," Wynn said.
--K Radamez Rubio Gaytan, an unsigned free agent whose only kicking experience came at college in Mexico City, had a translator following him around at practice last weekend. "The coaches tell me I have potential." If Gaytan, 26, can't catch on with an NFL team, then he can always fall back on his other talent. He's a chef, who specializes in "Mediterranean fusion," fish dishes.
--DE Jason Taylor is still barely alive in the "Dancing with the Stars" competition, and Sparano said that the widely reported feud over the six-time Pro Bowler missing voluntary workouts has been, "overblown."
"I think it's been overblown. I've said this before; I said it several weeks ago. I understand what Jason is doing. Jason and I have spoke and that's really all that matters. Jason and I stay in contact. As long as I know what's going on with Jason and he knows what's going on with me, I think we're in good shape," Sparano said.
QUOTE TO NOTE "Out here on the field, I am really going a million miles an hour and my interaction with him was minimal out here when we were out on the field. I think yesterday he kind of yelled at me one point and said, 'you're starting to sound like somebody else I know.' I think he was referring to himself and that is not a bad thing." -- Tony Sparano on Dolphins intimidating czar Bill Parcells' watching practices last weekend but not interfering.

the reason... no studs. Ronnie Brown will have a solid year, just not worth wasting a high draft pick on. Ricky Williams will continue to share a great deal of the load (which is good for us long term if we plan to keep Ronnie),

Pick a Winner. Comment with your pick if not listed and possible Super Bowl matchup or any other insighful comments. I put Miami on the list based on last year but don't pick'em unless you really believe.
I have been quite annoyed by Dennis Green and now Keyshawn Johnson on the "Jim Rome Show." They both think that Michael Vick will end up with Bill Parcells playing in the wildcat. Call me a traditionalist, but I am not a fan of the wildcat, nor am I a fan of Michael Vick. I hate listening to this speculation. I believe that people are maki

As many of you know, last year FinFever84 ran the Board Awards during the off-season. We've been discussing the issue on another thread, and it is time to get things moving for this year's Board Awards! Fever has given permission for someone else to run the show this year. If no one has any objections, BestBuck and myself have volunte

Prisco took one player from each team, one that he felt was over rated, and one he felt was under rated along w/ his reasoning. I know all of us Dolphins fans think Prisco is pretty much of a douche bag, but it's something interesting to talk about. Below are his comments ...... what do you think?
Due to the slow off-season happenings, I created another off-topic thread. Hope you don't mind!
I went to the Midnight showing of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen yesterday. It was VERY GOOD. I was curious how all of our fellow Dolphins Fans felt about the movie...? Anyone
