--WR Santonio Holmes is on pace for his first 1,000-yard season and he's getting the job done on third downs. His 12 third-down catches are fourth in the NFL and his 208 receiving yards on those downs rank second. He has 497 receiving yards on 30 receptions.
--QB Ben Roethlisberger's .718 winning percentage is second in the NFL only to Tom Brady (.780) for QBs with a minimum of 25 starts. Roethlisberger is 56-22.
--LB James Harrison's eight sacks, second in the NFL, puts him on pace to surpass the 16 he had when he set the team record last season.
--QB Charlie Batch, the Steelers' backup quarterback since the middle of the 2005 season, has not played a snap since Dec. 30, 2007, when he started a game against Baltimore. Batch spent last season on IR and Roethlisberger has taken every snap this season.
--RB Mewelde Moore has become coach Mike Tomlin's "sure-hands" man. Moore has finished the past two games at halfback after lost fumbles forced the other backs to the bench. Moore also returns punts when they are deep in Steelers' territory.
DE Travis Kirschke (calf) and ILB Lawrence Timmons (ankle) may be able to play when the Steelers resume play Nov. 9 in Denver. Both starters left Sunday's game vs. the Vikings with their injuries and did not return.
