--The Steelers can post a 3,000-yard passer (Ben Roethlisberger, 3,145), 1,000-yard rusher (Rashard Mendenhall, 887) and two 1,000-yard receivers (Santonio Holmes, 987; and Hines Ward, 922) in the same season for only the second time in their history. They did it in 2001 (Kordell Stewart, 3,109 passing yards; Jerome Bettis, 1,072 rushing yards; Plaxico Burress, 1,008 receiving yards; and Hines Ward, 1,003 receiving yards).

--This is only the sixth season in which the Steelers have experienced a losing streak of at least four games over the past 30 years, or since the NFL merger with the AFL in 1970. The others came in 2003 (five-game streak, finished 6-10), 1999 (six games, 6-10), 1998 (five games, 7-9), 1991 (four games, 7-9) and 1988 (six games and four games, 5-11).
