Now that the draft is over, look for the 49ers to try to find another veteran cornerback and/or safety who can start. Failing to meet those needs in the draft, the 49ers have enough salary-cap room to go after any players who might become available in June.

"We're going to stay active in free agency because we're not looking for backups in the secondary, we're looking for starters," coach Mike Nolan said. "At the safety position, it can still come out of the draft (Marcus Hudson), I don't believe at corner. And so we'll see if we have to do something after the draft."
