--Vice president of player personnel Vinny Cerrato said the Redskins will sign 13 undrafted players and dozens of tryout players for the May 4-6 rookie minicamp.

--Strong side linebacker Marcus Washington, who missed the final two games of last season with hip and knee injuries, is ready to begin working out after missing the first month of the offseason program.

--Four Redskins -- receiver Cedric Bonner, guard Kili Lefotu, defensive tackle Bryant Shaw and quarterback Casey Bramlet -- started last weekend in NFL Europa. Bramlet was 12-of-18 for 116 yards for Hamburg.

QUOTE TO NOTE
"At the sixth pick, you're looking long-term. Can this player play 10 to 12 years? And although it's initially crowded at his position, we (want to) feel like he'll play there long-term and has a chance to go to Pro Bowls." -- Joe Gibbs previewing the Redskins' thoughts on picking sixth.

I'm going to steal a line from my favorite show of all time, "House", and say "It's not Jason Campbell. Your diagnosis is wrong."

Jason Campbell is the Redskins' best option now and into the future. He has played well considering the circum

When you guys read this title, im sure a lot of different things pop in your mind. He has bad mechanics, he isn't accurate, takes too long to make decisions, isn't a leader, etc etc, and i'm not here to deny that. But I see another real problem with him. A problem that im not sure falls on him, and it's one that i kind of have sympathy for him. Though at the same time, it is correctable.

Here's what's going to happen.  At the end of the season:

(1) Jan 10-16, 2010: Jim Zorn will be fired.  His demeanor and pleasant flattop haircut will confuse viewers of the press conference whether or not he feels depressed about it.

(2) Jan 17-23, 2010: Vinny will be moved into some nominally administrative position, with the impl

I read this today on the Redskins site.  I couldn't beleive that a professional football team doesn't practice tackling in practice because they are affraid to get hurt.  According to players they practice technique and just know whther they would have made a tackle or not.  HMMM this kind of explains why ...(more)

I broke down the remaing schedule and teams with 2 wins to see where we may fall for out pick in April.  We are going to assume that these teams will take the 1st 5 picks in no random order and what I think they will pick.  I exceluded Tenn because I think they will rebound in the 2nd half of the year:

Cleveland - Running Back
Tampa Bay - Defensive
KC - WR/Runni

There are a lot of you out there.  People ready to jump ship left and right.  Ignorant people who love to try and blame the team's troubles on one or two players and who call for cutting players without taking into account any circumstances outside of their narrow perspective.  All i read on here is get rid of J.C., he sucks. Or get rid of Portis, he sucks. ...(more)

After watching today's game I would have to say NO, the Skins have probably the very worst O Line in the NFL this year.  They dont open up lanes for running often and they give the QG absolutely NO TIME to throw.  The announcers were even dogging them today.  I'm sorry, call me what you want but I felt sorry for J.C. today.  He was getting hammered every time he dropped back fo ...(more)

Witht ethe season all but gone... what are you looking to for in the next 9 games?  I'm looking to see if Fred Davis can perform, i'm also wondering if the other 2nd picks can get off the bench and catch a few, I'm looking to see if anyone on the o-line is worth keeping into next year.  How about if there are any decent ...(more)

Unbelievable. Apparently some genius in the front office has devised a new plan. Get this-- Sherman lewis will call the run plays, Sherman smith will call the pass plays and zorn will call the 2 minute offense. Dan and vinny must have been up late one night watching old episodes of the three stooges to come up with this latest brilliant plan-- "hey vinny, how many coaches does it take to s ...(more)

Ok so we are not going to the playoffs and we will not win much games so these are things that i'm asking for for the rest of the rest of the season...

  1. BEAT DALLAS - at least split with those guys
  2. End someone season - if the Chargers need a one more win to get into the playoffs and we end their season then that wi ...(more)
