Cardinals starting linebackers Gerald Hayes and Chike Okeafor are doubtful for Sunday's game against NFC West foe Seattle. Neither has practiced this week because of back injuries. Hayes would miss his second straight game. Ali Highsmith started in place of Hayes at inside linebacker last week. Bertrand Berry is Okeafor's backup at outside linebacker.

Cardinals DL Darnell Dockett, who entered the game with three sacks in his last three, recorded three more Week 12 at Tennessee, finishing with six total tackles. He now has seven sacks for the season.

The Cardinals' list of inactives for Week 12 at Tennessee includes DB Rashad Johnson, LB Reggie Walker, LB Will Davis, TE Stephen Spach and WR Jerheme Urban.

The Cardinals announced Friday that they released the following players: LB Chase Bullock, FB Tim Castille, CB Jameel Dowling, DT Kellen Dykes, DE Alex Field, CB Wilrey Fontenot, DB Aaron Francisco, WR Ed Gant, LB Victor Hobson, LB David Holloway, WR Onrea Jones, DT Rodney Leisle, FB Reagan Maui'a, QB Tyler Palko, TE Leonard Pope, WR Steve Sanders and RB Chris Vincent.

Starting outside linebacker Chike Okeafor, out the last two games with a back injury, practiced Wednesday and could return for Sunday's game at Tennessee.

Cardinals DB Bryant McFadden (right knee bruise) left Week 11 at St. Louis with a bruised right knee. He finished the game with one solo tackle.

Cardinals WR Anquan Boldin, coming off back-to-back 100-yard games, had only 53 yards on five catches at Tennessee in Week 12. He led the team in both categories, though.

All were recently cut from other NFL teams.

On Tuesday, RB Darius Walker and LB Kelly Poppinga were signed to the Rams' practice squad and S David Roach and FB Russ Weil were released from the Rams' practice squad.

Cardinals head coach Ken Whisenhunt said Monday that QB Kurt Warner would remain monitored on a daily basis and stopped short of calling him the team's starter in Week 13 vs. Minnesota. Warner says he plans to see an opthamologist about the lingering post-concussion symptoms that kept him out of Sunday'sloss at Tennessee. Warner says he's having hard-to-describe issues with his eyes, a condition he hoped would subside last week but never did. He says the Cardinals medical staff told him before Sunday's game he shouldn't play and he agreed. The official team Web site expects more information to come out by Wednesday when the team begins practicing for the Vikings. Matt Leinart started in place of Warner in Week 12 at Tennessee and completed 21 of 31 passes for 220 yards with no scores or turnovers.

Head, neck - Questionable for Week 13 vs. Minnesota

Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald, who entered the game with seven touchdowns in his last seven, had his worst game of the season Week 12 at Tennessee, equaling a season low with 34 yards on four receptions. The Cardinals had Matt Leinart at quarterback instead of Kurt Warner.

Cardinals RB Tim Hightower injured his thumb in Sunday's game at Tennessee and was scheduled to have further tests on it late Monday. Hightower played the entire game against the Titans and finished with 11 carries for 55 yards, scoring on a 6-yard run in the fourth quarter. He also had three catches for 23 yards.

Thumb - Questionable for Week 13 vs. Minnesota

Notable Cardinals defenders from Week 9 at Chicago include: LB Karlos Dansby, CBs Bryant McFadden and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie (six solo tackles each), LB Chike Okeafor (three solo tackles, sack), LB Will Davis (three solo tackles, sack), LB Clark Haggans (two solo tackles, sack), DL Darnell Dockett (solo tackle, sack) and DB Matt Ware (solo tackle, interception). DB Adrian Wilson had five total tackles as well.

The Arizona Republic reports that Cody Brown will be placed on injured reserve soon. Brown is out for the season with a dislocated left wrist.

Free-agent cornerback Ralph Brown re-signed with the Arizona Cardinals on Wednesday, agreeing to a one-year deal. Brown played in all 16 games for Arizona last season, with 23 tackles - 17 solo - and one interception. The eight-year NFL veteran has also played for the New York Giants, Minnesota Vikings and Cleveland Browns. Terms weren't disclosed.
