Arizona WR Chansi Stuckey caught two passes for 24 yards in the Week 2 loss at Washington. He was targeted three times in the passing game by QB Kevin Kolb. That said, he may not be targeted much more often as Stuckey fumbled the ball away on the team's final drive as they were trying to get into field goal position in an eventual 22-21 loss.

Arizona DL Darnell Dockett recorded a season-high seven tackles, including five solo stops, during the Cardinals' 23-16 loss to Cincinnati in Week 16. Dockett's output also surpassed his total from his previous two games combined (five).

Arizona WR Stephen Williams was targeted three times, catching two passes for 26 yards in Week 17. They were his first receptions since Week 5 against New Orleans. The Cardinals would lose to the 49ers, 38-7, to end the season.

Arizona LB Daryl Washington had a game-high 11 tackles, including one for a loss, during the Cardinals' 23-16 loss to Cincinnati in Week 16. Washington finished with double-digits in tackles for the second time this season and now has 94 total stops.

Arizona agreed to terms with former Pittsburgh DL Nick Eason on a two-year contract Thursday, according to ESPN. Eason, who spent the last four years with the Steelers, will be reunited with Cardinals defensive coordinator Ray Horton from their years in Pittsburgh.

Arizona DB Richard Marshall almost picked off Tony Romo in the first quarter of Sunday's contest but he wasn't able to hold on to the ball. He came out of the game in the second quarter briefly, but would return to the contest. He finished the game with four solo tackles.

The Cardinals got two sacks on back-to-back plays from LB O'Brien Schofield, the second causing a fumble in Week 15. He finished with three tackles in the 20-17 win.

The Cardinals released their regular season depth chart and ILB Paris Lenon is still starting ahead of high-priced free-agent acquisition Stewart Bradley.

Working out with several of his Cardinals teammates this week, new WR DeMarco Sampson made a good impression. Sampson, 25, had teammates take notice of his size (6 foot 2, 204 pounds) and speed. Aside from being winded during the players-only workout, the Arizona Republic reports that he looked good. QB John Skelton agrees. "At first, I thought he was veteran from another team joining us," Skelton said. "He's pretty talented and he can fly. I reached back to throw a 'go' route and underthrew him. He's got sure hands so it looks positive for him."

On Tuesday, RB Darius Walker and LB Kelly Poppinga were signed to the Rams' practice squad and S David Roach and FB Russ Weil were released from the Rams' practice squad.

The Cardinals placed DB Greg Toler (knee) on the injured reserve list on Monday, ending his season before it began. Toler was hurt in the team's preseason game on Saturday.

Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald finished with nine receptions for 149 yards in Week 17 against the Seahawks, but apparently suffered a lung injury in the 23-20 win. Fitzgergald's father, Larry Fitzgerald Sr., tweeted after the game that his son suffered a lung injury in the contest and was spitting up blood on the sideline. He also added that Fitzgerlad will undergo an MRI on Monday. However, the team said the 28-year-old underwent X-rays following the game, which came back negative. Fitzgerald did meet with the media after the game and did not mention anything regarding his injury.

Cardinals DB Kerry Rhodes was active for Sunday's contest against the Browns. He's been dealing with a foot injury.

Ankle - Missed Week 17 vs. Seattle

The Cardinals placed DB Crezdon Butler (ankle) on injured reserve on Tuesday. To take his place on the roster, DL Ronald Talley was promoted from the practice squad.

Ankle - IR. Out for the season

Cardinals TE Todd Heap was able to find the end zone in Week 17 against the Seahawks. Heap was on the receiving end of a 13-yard scoring strike from John Skelton in the third quarter. He finished with two receptions for 35 yards in the 23-20 victory, averaging 17.5 yards per reception.

Cardinals TE Jim Dray caught two of the first three passes thrown his way in Week 9 against the Rams. Those two catches were his first of the year and were good for 25 yards. Dray saw action because Todd Heap, who was active, is still dealing with an injury. Arizona would win the game, 19-13.

Cardinals RB Chester Taylor was able to find the end zone for the first time this season in Week 17 against the Seahawks. Taylor was able to scamper in the end zone on a 1-yard run in the first quarter. He briefly left with an injury but did return to finish with 8 yards on three carries in the 23-20 win. Taylor also caught a pass for 6 yards.

With a 42-yard punt return in the second quarter, Cardinals DB Patrick Peterson set an NFL record for punt return yards by a rookie. The Steelers' Louis Lipps (656) held the record previously. Peterson finished with four tackles in the 23-20 victory in Week 17 against the Seahawks.

Arizona QB Richard Bartel saw action in his second game of the season, as the Cardinals' starter John Skelton was benched in the third quarter. Bartel came in for the entire fourth quarter, and was 8 for 16 for 64 yards and a 23-yard touchdown pass to Larry Fitzgerald.

The Cardinals announced on Wednesday that they signed free agent QB Brodie Croyle to an undisclosed contract. To make room for him on the roster, the team waived-injured second-year QB Max Hall (shoulder). The BYU product will be placed on the injured reserve should he clear waivers.

Cardinals QB Kevin Kolb has officially been ruled inactive for Week 17 against the Seahawks. Kolb was listed as questionable heading into the contest as he continues to deal with concussion-like symptoms. Cardinals QB John Skelton sill start in his place.

Head - Missed Week 17 vs. Seattle

Arizona TE Rob Housler caught two passes for 23 yards in Week 13 against Dallas. The Cardinals would win the game, 19-13. Housler got more playing time with Todd Heap inactive again.

Arizona DB Adrian Wilson collected seven tackles and a pass defended during the Cardinals' 23-16 loss at Cincinnati in Week 16. Wilson topped seven tackles for the second straight game, the first time he has accomplished that feat this season.

The Cardinals have listed the following players as inactive for Week 16 against the Rams: FB Dan Kreider, TE Ben Patrick, WR Sean Morey, K Neil Rackers, QB Brian St. Pierre and S Hamza Abdullah.

Cardinals LB Clark Haggans tallied three solo tackles in Week 13 versus the Cowboys. One of those tackles was a sack on QB Tony Romo. Arizona won the game, 19-13.

The Cardinals placed NT Dan Williams (broken arm) on IR, ending his season. DE Ronald Talley was elevated from the practice squad to take his roster spot.

Arizona DB Michael Adams left in the third quarter of Week 10 against Philadelphia with a strained hamstring. Adams finished with five tackles, including one for a loss, before departing.

The cuts also included safety Jared Campbell, cornerback Fred Bennett, center Ben Claxton, quarterback Brodie Croyle, linebacker Will Davis, cornerback Marshay Green, defensive end Kenny Iwebema, tackle Cliff Louis, nose tackle Ricky Lumpkin, fullback Reagan Maui’a, defensive end Jeremy Navarre, wide receiver Aaron Nichols, cornerback Bryant Nnabuife, linebacker Cyril Obiozor, center Kris O’Dowd, guard Tom Pestock, running back William Powell, tight end Steve Skelton, linebacker Kendall Smith, linebacker Pago Togafau, cornerback Thad Turner, safety Matt Ware, wide receiver Isaiah Williams and tackle D.J. Young. Guard Floyd Womack (shoulder) and wide receiver Sean Jeffcoat (shoulder) were also placed on injured reserve.

Cardinals WR Early Doucet was not much of a factor in Week 17 against the Seahawks. Doucet finished with just one reception for 7 yards in the contest, and was unable to find the end zone. He was targeted three times by John Skelton in the 23-20 loss.

Arizona released WR Jaymar Johnson from its active roster on Wednesday in order to clear space to help boost its ailing offensive line. Johnson, who joined the Cardinals in late November, was added to the team's practice squad.

Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt said RB Ryan Williams' surgery to repair a torn patellar tendon went well Monday. Additionally, doctors found some issues with the meniscus that they "cleaned up" but that is not expected to impact his recovery time or rehabilitation. Williams will not play this season.

Knee - IR. Out for the season

Cardinals RB Beanie Wells said on Twitter on Tuesday he is undergoing surgery, which is expected to be on his troublesome knee. Wells wrote "time to go under the knife" on Tuesday morning, but he did not specify the nature of his operation. Wells played most of the season with a lingering knee injury, and he only missed Week 3 and Week 17, which was a meaningless game for the Cardinals. Coach Ken Whisenhunt said following Week 17 that Wells played most of the year on "one leg."

Knee - Probable for start of training camp

Arizona promoted DL Ronald Talley from its practice squad on Tuesday to take the roster spot of NT Dan Williams, who was placed on season-ending injured reserve.

Arizona S Rashad Johnson, playing in place of injury S Kerry Rhodes, racked up eight tackles (seven solo) and a tackle for a loss during the Cardinals' 23-7 loss at San Francisco in Week 11.

Cardinals DL Calais Campbell left Week 17 against the Seahawks with an ankle injury. Campbell was taken immediately back to the locker room and did not return in the 23-20 win. He finished with one tackle prior to leaving the contest.

Ankle - Left Week 17 vs. Seattle

Arizona DB A.J. Jefferson had two tackles and an interception during the Cardinals' 21-17 victory over Philadelphia in Week 10. Jefferson picked off Eagles QB Michael Vick late in the fourth quarter for his first career interception. “Everybody we have on defense is starting to trust one another," Jefferson said. "We know if you miss something, the guy behind you will pick it up for you. It’s really starting to pay dividends for us.”

Arizona DL Sam posted just two tackles and a sack during the Cardinals' 23-16 loss to Cincinnati in Week 16. Acho took down Bengals QB Andy Dalton for his first sack in the past four games. It was his sixth total sack of the season.

Arizona TE Jeff King scored a touchdown on his only catch of the game during the Cardinals' 23-16 loss to Cincinnati in Week 16. King hauled in a 2-yard pass from QB John Skelton during the fourth quarter to give him his first touchdown since Week 2 at Washington.

Cardinals LB Reggie Walker suffered a hamstring injury in Week 5 against the Saints and could miss some time. He was being examined Monday.

Cardinals RB LaRod Stephens-Howling played well in Week 17 against the Seahawks. Stephens-Howling, who started in place of the injured Beanie Wells, finished with 93 yards on 21 carries in the 23-20 victory. His longest run went for 39 yards, but he was unable to score in the contest.

Cardinals TE Anthony Becht, TE Mike Leach and WR Sean Morey didn't record offensive statistics Week 12 at Tennessee.

The Redskins announced Sunday that they and the Cardinals reached an agreement to send RB Tim Hightower to Washington in exchange for DE Vonnie Holliday and a conditional late-round draft pick. Holliday had just 29 tackles in 15 games with the Redskins last year, though he notched 2 1/2 sacks in the process.

The Cardinals waived DB Korey Lindsey on Tuesday. Lindsey, a rookie, had been selected in the seventh round of the draft this summer by the Bengals before being waived by Cincinnati.

The Cardinals announced Wednesday that they placed LB Joey Porter on IR with a knee injury.

Knee - IR. Out for the season

Arizona rookie DL David Carter's first career sack forced a fumble, which was recovered by Darnell Dockett on Sunday. That set up an Arizona score against New York in Week 4, but the Cardinals would still lose the game, 31-27. Carter finished with three tackles, two solo, on the day.

The Cardinals made some roster moves on Monday, highlighted by the official signing of RB Chester Taylor. The team also claimed CB Crezdon Butler from the Steelers and CB Korey Lindsey from the waivers. To make room for the additions, the team released TE Stephen Spach, LB Quan Sturdivant and DE Ronald Talley.

The Cowboys made their final cuts on Saturday in order to get down to the league-mandated 53 players, and there were some notable subtractions. Among the players released were FBs Chris Gronkowski, Jason Pociask Shaun Chapas and Isaiah Greenhouse; WRs Tysson Poots, Manuel Johnson, Lyle Leong and Teddy Williams; DBs Akwasi Owusu-Ansah, Mario Butler, Chris Randle, Andrew Sendejo, Josh Thomas and Collin Zych; LBs Mike Balogun, Kenwin Cummings, Orie Lemon, and Brandon Williams; DE Jimmy Saddler-McQueen and RB Lonyae Miller.

Arizona RB Alfonso Smith finished without a carry during the Cardinals’ 21-17 victory over Philadelphia in Week 10. Smith has now collected less than five attempts in five of his past six games as he continues to split playing time among a trio of backups to starting RB Beanie Wells.

Arizona WR Andre Roberts posted six receptions for 75 yards during the Cardinals' 23-16 loss at Cincinnati in Week 16. Roberts finished with six catches for the second game in a row as he averaged 12.5 yards per reception. He finished with 10 targets from QB John Skelton.

The Cardinals signed free agent safety Sean Considine on Tuesday. Considine had been released by the Panthers on Oct. 4.

Arizona rookie RB Anthony Sherman left Week 8 against Baltimore after suffering an apparent ankle injury in the first half. His return is questionable.

Cardinals K Jay Feely had a perfect outing in Week 17 against the Seahawks. He made all three of his field goals and converted both of his extra points. He a 41-yarder in the first half before nailing one from 43 yards in the fourth quarter. Then in overtime, Feely connected on a 28-yard field goal to propel Arizona to the 23-20 win.

Cardinals QB John Skelton for almost 275 yards and a touchdown in Week 17 against the Seahawks. Skelton, who once again started in place of the injured Kevin Kolb, was able to hook up with Todd Heap on a 13-yard scoring strike in the third quarter. He completed 22 of his 40 pass attempts for 271 yards in the 23-20 victory, but was picked off once on the afternoon. Skelton also racked up 19 yards on the ground and completed a pass to eight different receivers in the contest. He finished with a QB rating of 74.1.

Arizona LB Paris Lenon left in the first quarter of Week 16 at Cincinnati with an apparent wrist injury. He is questionable to return. Lenon registered one tackle before departing. LB Stewart Bradley replaced Lenon in the lineup for the Cardinals.
