Bengals DT Domata Peko, who left Sunday's game at Oakland with a sprained right MCL, said he'll try to play this Sunday vs. Cleveland with a customized knee brace. "I'm a little sore," Peko said Monday. "It hurts a little bit when I do some change of direction stuff. I should be day by day with a chance to play this Sunday. I'm happy about that."

Defensive end Antwan Odom will miss the rest of the season because of a torn Achilles' tendon, costing the Cincinnati Bengals their top pass rusher. Odom had surgery on his right leg Monday and was placed on injured reserve. Odom is tied for the league lead with eight sacks and has been the Bengals' most dominant defensive player. The team also lost DL Domata Peko with a knee injury in Week 6 and also were without DL Frostee Rucker, who has a sprained ankle. DT Tank Johnson played with an injured foot.

Several Bengals played well on defense Sunday at the Steelers. LB Dhani Jones had seven tackles and a sack. Leon Hall had seven tackles. Johnathan Joseph had seven tackles. Jonathan Fanene had six tackles and two sacks. Rey Maualuga had six tackles. Robert Geathers had four tackles and a sack. And Frostee Rucker had an interception off a tipped pass from Ben Roethlisberger.

Bengals LB Brandon Johnson finished with five tackles and 1.5 sacks on Sunday in a win over Baltimore.

Bengals kicker Shayne Graham converted three field goals, including a 53-yarder in Week 12 against Cleveland. He he added an extra point and finished with 10 points.

The Bengals signed CB Morgan Trent of Michigan on Wednesday, the first of the club's two sixth-round selections in the 2009 draft. Trent was a three-year starter at Michigan, playing 48 games with 41 starts over his career. He logged seven interceptions and an additional 24 pass break-ups, and his 31 total passes defensed ranks fifth in Wolverines history.

Bengals WR Andre Caldwell caught three passes for 33 yards in Week 12 against Cleveland. He was was targeted three times in the game.

Bengals RB Jeremi Johnson had one carry on Sunday in a Week 11 loss to the Raiders. He lost a yard on the play. Johnson also lost a fumble in the game.

Bengals QB Carson Palmer was held to just 110 passing yards in Week 12 against Cleveland. He completed 13 of 24 passes, including a 4-yard touchdown pass to TE J.P. Foschi.

Bengals LB Dhani Jones was the team's leading defensive performer on Sunday in a Week 11 loss to the Raiders. He led the team with nine tackles and forced a fumble in the game.

Bengals DL Robert Geathers (hip) has been listed as probable for the team's Week 11 game against the Browns. Geathers was able to practice in full on Friday after being limited on both Wednesday and Thursday.

The Bengals have released tight end Ben Utecht and receiver Antonio Chatman, both of whom were out for the season with injuries. Utecht suffered a major concussion during training camp at Georgetown College and was taken off the field on a stretcher. He stayed overnight in a hospital for observation, and his symptoms were slow to diminish. He was placed on the injured reserve list on Aug. 31. Chatman suffered a severe ankle injury during practice and went on injured reserve on Sept. 5. The Bengals also signed safety Brannon Condren to their practice squad on Tuesday. He opened the season with Indianapolis, but was waived on July 29.

Bengals WR Chad Ochocinco was thrilled to win last week by running the football against the Browns, but he has a request for the coaching staff when they draw up their plans for Week 13 vs. the Lions: Throw the ball. Ochocinco has watched the Cincinnati run game do more than its fair share of the work for two straight weeks. "I'm not going to let them treat us like that for three straight games," Johnson said of the passing attack, according to the official team Web site. "We won the game. We had a wonderful day on the ground. Bernard Scott and Larry Johnson played extremely well. I asked for us to run the ball. This basically solidifies us being able to run the ball right now. It helps us once we do get to the playoffs. Now next week things are going to have to change. The roles need to be reversed. I'm speaking on behalf of myself and the receiving corps. We would like to throw the ball 50 times. I just want to relay that message."

Henry was the team's fourth-leading receiver with 12 catches for 236 yards and two touchdowns.
