Cowboys linebacker Anthony Spencer was arrested over the weekend after a disturbance outside a downtown Indianapolis nightclub, police said. Spencer was arrested on preliminary charges of public intoxication and disorderly conduct about 3 a.m. Sunday outside a nightclub.

Dallas has re-signed defensive end Stephen Bowen for the upcoming season. Bowen signed a one-year, $1.54 million deal Monday. He joined the club as an undrafted free agent in 2006, making the practice squad before moving up to the active roster that November. He has played in 34 games over three seasons.

Dallas WR Jesse Holley, who won Michael Irvin's reality TV show just to earn a spot at Cowboys' training camp and had been cut on Saturday, has made the team's practice squad, reports the Dallas Morning News.

Cowboys safety Gerald Sensabaugh will have surgery to repair a broken plate in his right thumb and could be out up to a month. Sensabaugh had a plate implanted after breaking his thumb in college. He cracked the plate Sunday during Dallas' 17-10 loss at Denver. Sensabaugh played the week after his operation in college, but coach Wade Phillips said Monday that he doesn't expect such a quick turnaround this time. Patrick Watkins replaced him against the Broncos and will remain in the lineup.

Dallas QB Tony Romo was 21 of 34 passing for 307 yards, one touchdown and one interception Sunday at Philadelphia. This was Romo's third 300-yard game in his past four outings. The one negative was Romo failed to pass for multiple touchdowns for the first time in his past four games, but he threw the game-winning touchdown to Miles Austin.

The San Antonio Express-New reports that Cowboys coach Wade Phillips said Monday that Alan Ball actually suffered a concussion against the 49ers on Friday night. The team said after the game the injury was to his neck.
