The Colts had several players do well Sunday at Houston. Robert Mathis had two tackles, one sack and a forced fumble. Antoine Bethea had four tackles and an interception. Clint Session had nine tackles and an interception. Raheem Brock had three tackles, a sack and a forced fumble. Gary Brackett had five tackles.

Colts WR Reggie Wayne had only three catches for 19 yards Sunday at Houston, but he did score a touchdown. Wayne now has nine touchdowns on the season.

With LB Gary Brackett returning to the lineup in Week 5, Freddy Keiaho will return to his role as a reserve linebacker.

The Colts have lost starting linebacker Tyjuan Hagler for the rest of the season with a ruptured biceps. Coach Jim Caldwell said Hagler was placed on injured reserve Wednesday. Second-year linebacker Philip Wheeler and undrafted rookie Ramon Humber are expected to replace Hagler. Indy also will promote rookie linebacker Cody Glenn to the active roster from the practice squad.

Colts QB Peyton Manning got off to a slow start Sunday at Houston with a pair of interceptions in the first half, but he rebounded well as he usually does. Manning finished the game 27 of 35 passing for 244 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions. He also added one carry for minus-2 yards as the Colts remained undefeated.

Colts RB Chad Simpson had a late touchdown run Sunday at Houston. Simpson finished the game with two carries for 20 yards and a touchdown.

Colts CB Kelvin Hayden, who has been out the last four games with a knee injury, worked out before the Houston game and could return in Week 13 against Tennessee, coach Jim Caldwell said Monday.

Bob Sanders' 2009 season is over thanks to a torn left biceps tendon, according to ESPN. Sanders was hurt in the team's Week 8 win over the 49ers and got the results of his injury from a visit with Dr. James Andrews.

Elbow - IR. Out for the season

The Colts have announced the inactives for Week 8 vs. San Francisco: K Adam Vinatieri, QB Curtis Painter, WR Anthony Gonzalez, DB T.J. Rushing, DB Marlin Jackson and RB Donald Brown.

The Colts have released WR Roy Hall on Thursday. Hall was expected to compete with Pierre Garcon and rookie Austin Collie for the No. 3 WR spot, but he was placed on the waived-injured list.

The Colts have placed cornerback Marlin Jackson on injured reserve after reportedly tearing his ACL in a non-contact drill early in Wednesday's practice. He is out for the remainder of the season. Additionally, safety Bob Sanders visited with Dr. James Andrews Thursday to gather additional information on the left elbow injury he suffered in Week 8 against San Francisco. No word has been given on his status for the team's Week 9 showdown with the Texans.
