The Eagles have listed the following players as inactive for Week 8 vs. the Giants: QB Kevin Kolb, DB Macho Harris, DL Victor Abiamiri, WR Kevin Curtis, DB Dimitri Patterson, RB Brian Westbrook.

Philadelphia DB/KR Ellis Hobbs suffered a neck injury in Sunday night's game against Dallas and had a MRI Monday and saw a spine specialist. Coach Andy Reid said there would be further evaluation during the week.

Eagles FB Leonard Weaver had eight carries for 33 yards Sunday against Dallas. Weaver helped the Eagles replace the injured Brian Westbrook (concussion).

Upset by press reports that starting middle linebacker Stewart Bradley could miss the season with a knee injury, Eagles coach Andy Reid says he's not talking about it. The Eagles confirmed Sunday night that Bradley suffered a knee injury in practice. On Monday, reports surfaced that the third-year pro has a torn ACL. After practice, Reid criticized the media instead of discussing the injury. He said some reporters violated his 'pact' with them, which he said dictates that they ask only him about team injuries, not players or other team personnel. "We won't talk about injuries today," Reid said. Reid did acknowledge Bradley's absence from practice. "He did not practice today, and that's where I'll leave it," he said. Eagles players did talk about Bradley. Said linebacker Chris Gocong: "Obviously it's really unfortunate, but that's football, and you really do have to roll with the punches and stay on your toes."

Knee - IR. Out for the season

To get down to the league-mandated 53-man roster, the Browns parted ways with the following players: DB Hamza Abdullah, FB Charles Ali, DB Brandon Anderson, QB Richard Bartel, DB Tra Battle, LB Beau Bell, LB Titus Brown, RB Noah Herron, DL Adam Hoppel, WR Paul Hubbard, DB Corey Ivy, RB Chris Jennings, WR Lance Leggett, WR Jordan Norwood, WR David Patten, DL Brian Schaefering, DL Santonio Thomas and TE Aaron Walker. DL Melila Purcell was waived/injured.

For the second straight week, Browns coach Eric Mangini has waived a high draft pick of Cleveland's previous regime. Tight end Martin Rucker, a fourth-round selection in 2008, was waived by the Browns (0-2) on Tuesday along with defensive back Marquis Floyd.

Eagles QB Michael Vick had one carry for 2 yards Sunday against Dallas.

Philadelphia Eagles rookie tight end Cornelius Ingram has suffered a torn ACL in his left knee and is likely out for the season. The team said an MRI scan taken Saturday revealed the injury he sustained on Tuesday. The fifth-round pick missed his senior season at Florida after tearing the ACL in the same knee almost exactly a year ago. The Eagles are now thin at tight end, with only veteran Matt Schobel and undrafted rookie Eugene Bright behind starter Brent Celek.

Knee - IR. Out for the season

Eagles TE Alex Smith had one catch for 11 yards Sunday against Dallas. Smith is the No. 2 TE behind starter Brent Celek.

Eagles rookie WR Jeremy Maclin, who was battling a foot injury coming into Sunday's game at Dallas, played the whole game but had a difficult outing and finished with three catches for 44 yards.

Eagles two-time Pro Bowl CB Asante Samuel returned to Sunday night's game against Dallas after leaving with a neck injury. Samuel finished with three tackles.

The Philadelphia Daily News reports the Eagles are unsure when RB Brian Westbrook will return from his concussion, and his status for Week 10 at San Diego is questionable. Westbrook, who was hurt in Week 8 at Washington, missed the Week 9 game Sunday against Dallas. He was expected to play after going through practice Wednesday and Thursday before taking Friday off due to a headache. "He felt good during the week," Reid said Sunday night. "He practiced during the week. It's a crazy deal . . . I know this: If he has [headaches], I'm going to go more on the conservative side and take every precautionary measure possible. I'm not going to stick him out there, even if the tests are positive." As for Westbrook's prognosis for San Diego, Reid was noncommital: "We'll just see how he does this next week."

Eagles kicker David Akers showed off his strong leg Sunday against Dallas. He made three field goals on three attempts with a long of 52. He also made his lone point after attempt.

Philadelphia DL Darren Howard (ankle) was a full participant in practice on Wednesday. The Eagles play host to Dallas Week 9.

The Green Bay Packers said Tuesday they've released linebacker Tracy White and signed rookie linebacker Danny Lansanah from the practice squad. White, a sixth-year player, appeared in 32 regular-season games and two playoff games for Green Bay. Lansanah signed with the Packers as a non-drafted free agent from Connecticut.

Eagles QB Donovan McNabb was 16 of 30 passing for 227 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions Sunday against Dallas. His first interception was off a tipped pass intended for rookie WR Jeremy Maclin, and his second interception was a bad pass intended for Maclin. This was McNabb's first game with an interception since Week 1, which ended a streak of 118 passes without a pick.
